    Un-nerf farms?

@Justme What does the amount of consumables used have to do with their GPH restrictions for certain farm locations being nerfed with custom changes having adverse effects on ALL classes, and on the economy - not just for lvl 60s. Also giving less incentive to roll alts to farm with? What does it have to do with it causing open world farm locations now being crowded with individuals what would have been instanced farming? You see a Hunter/Mage/Rogue/Priest/Pally/Druid/Lock always grinding elementals and now you can't, herbs are hard to comeby? They are been forced to such locations since other sources of income have been nerfed. Preventing people select people/classes from making gold in specific ways has directly attributed to the cost of all items (not just consumables), and forced a longer HPW (hours per week) of the average player to maintain the same buying power.

    Fury BIS lists BWL

Vis'Kag can crit based off of physical crit and IIRC provides rage based on damage one /30. This is why Vis'Kag continues to be a very strong weapon for warriors and why if you are on the BWL patch should give CTS to rogues and Fury take Vis'Kag. Once you have AQ40 on your server, then rogues would want to MH AQR as they get more out of top end damage with SS spam. Though on this server, Vis'Kag is currently limited slightly on it's proc due to the incorrect restriction of a proc can not proc itself (should only be Thunderfury and not all items).

    Un-nerf farms?

Reposting my post from another thread here as it is more relevant. (was in response to a complaint about Tribute nerf for Hunters) It pretty much explains the adverse effects on these farming nerfs on the economy, increased time investment for raid consumables, and forcing additional competition for resources in open world, as well as limiting alt creation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't forget ZG solo bijou farming from mages. DM East AoE farm route. Rogues pick-pocket. I get the intentions of why certain changes (not fixes) were implemented with the ideology of limiting the GPH a specific class can insert into the economy. However, the negative effects are greater than the positives. Major Mana Potions tripled in price shortly after this change (not fix). Large Brilliant Shard prices doubled shortly after this change. Bijou prices in increased greatly before the lack of ZG runs due to increased amount of content. These "farm classes" which used to supply the server with an abundance of raid consumables (potions, herbs, enchant materials, buff regents) can no longer do so, adding scarcity to said items, increasing demand, and increasing the out of pocket cost across the board for ALL classes. Changes were implemented to make things more "fair" for other classes, though only increased the required hours farming per week for non-farm classes to get the same items they were obtaining from AH at 1/3 the cost. I don't get a shit who the seller is, I care about the listing price. Unfortunately the changes implemented extend well beyond the items obtained from these farm methods. Think of the gold flow as a flowing river. These changes are comparable to building a dam to contain this water flow. Now that the water is restricted, everybody down stream is thirsty. "But how?", you may ask. These changes have effectively pulled a large percent of the classes in the game out of proficient instanced farming (Hunters - Tribute, Rogues - BRD, Mages/Locks/Priest/Pally/Druid (spec dependent) - DM East) and pulled them into farming open world locations. This has added additional competition for camps/nodes which lowers resources gained per hour by individuals that would of had less competition if other GPH farmers where in instanced locations. The lower resources gained per hour translates into higher AH listing prices for all modestly sought after materials/resources/consumables for all classes across the board. Elemental Earth, Elemental Fire, Essence of Water, Herbs, DS Leather, so on and so on. It also creates less of an incentive for other non-farm classes to roll alts that are better at such task, since comparable (not as good) GPH can be obtained with healing/tank/solo DPS builds. With less reason to roll alts, this limits the economic activity and AH item diversity of low - mid level gear/resources. Unfortunately this also feeds into promoting sticking with one toon - farming your needed GPW (gold per week) to maintain your consumables and log off. Why put 200 hours into an alt farmer if my GPH is only a 20% difference between 40g and 50g. I could farm at 40g per hour for 900 hours on my already level 60 toon for 36,000g. I could farm at 50g per hour for 700 hours (200 leveling estimation = 0 gold) on my farming alt for 35,000g. So even at 37.5 days played on my farming alt, I don't even break even yet for the time investment of what this alt toon even is, a farm alt. So unless you have the time to raid full time on two different toons, the reasons for leveling an alt are limited to level 20 summoners.
  10. Private server vets knew Grizzly would stop playing AGAIN after rushing Rag down. Though when called out on it on their recruitment were boasting back, "we know what to expect this time..... in it for the long haul". Guess it's easier to compete for server first when hardly anybody is level 60. Maybe that is why they never went for BWL.

Why is the Alliance AH so messed up?

Also more PVP oriented people tend to join horde, which to be a serious contender requires engineering. So more people by population % would be prone to level that profession. Copper is a big part of the of leveling process for said profession.

    Fire Mage AQ40 BiS list

It's 5 per level, which is why lvl 63 mobs / bosses should have 15 Holy Resist, as only their base level resist is in game. The base 140 fire/frost/shadow for bosses and base 70 nature resist, is this specific to Vanilla Gaming only and all 4 schools have a default of 75?

    Worth the risk?

You do know that every online game, legit or not, servers eventually get shut down from their own companies - right? Games also release expansions that make all of your time investments nil overnight. If you have fun while playing, then it is worth it. That is what games are, a source of entertainment. This project was under a different name prior to Elysium of Valkyrie and was up for many years while other projects would get shut-down. #Russia I'd say sure put your time in here, but remember to have fun while leveling and not look at it as a chore to reach 60 and start having fun. Otherwise you'll burn yourself out and never hit 60.
  14. Druid would be your leveling choice then, since you balance between opening with cast, then go to cat/bear depending on how many mobs you are fighting and your mana is regening after 6 seconds of swapping forms. Leveling my druid alt, I wouldn't even use a stack of water every 10 levels. Though if you are looking to raid, healing is 90% going to be your roll. Feral is so-so but if dedicated can put up decent numbers like 750 DPS on select fights, though you'll also be expected to have a +healing set for when melee is weak on a fight, have a tanking set for tanking raid trash so a fury can dps and not tank. And you'll have a +MP5 set for fights that need decursing / poison removal so a pure specced healer can continue to heal instead / mage can DPS. Note that guilds have only 1 or even 0 ferals. Their itemization pre-AQ40 consist of a lot of blue gear, BWL items that nobody else wants, and a few items that have high competition (Band of Accuria, DFT) Shaman you can play with minimal downtime as well, as long as you understand and utilize the 6 second rule to allow mana regen in combat. Just like druid, open up with spell cast, and second half of mob life use non-mana abilities only (druid favors this though) and drinking is not as common as you would think. Though endgame you are a healer. Though getting a raid spot as a shaman is easier than as a druid, as guilds tend to take 3 druids to raid and 6-8 shaman if possible due to totems being only group specific buffs. Shadow Priest has little down time as well, but has the slowest kill time of the 3 classes listed. Though you'll be wanding between DoTs and after opening with Holy Fire (pre shadow form) > DoT > Mindblast > Spam Wand. Mindflay is close to same DPS as the wands you'll get and breaks the 6 second rule. Only 1 shadow priest is brought to raid to assist with warlock damage, though you can always swap to holy/disc spec for an easier raid spot if you are fine with healing. With all these classes, you'll want to be sure you do not undervalue Spirit as a stat while leveling. Spirit should be a primary stat for Shadow Priest and secondary stat for shaman / druid (regardless of spec) during your leveling to minimize down time. People often give out free stam enchants while leveling enchanting so you can make up for low HP on gear that has high other stats. Regardless of what class you pick, if it has a mana bar, you have to be frugal with spell usage. WotlK + spells did more damage, regen was higher and downtime was removed from the game for a lot of classes. This is not the case.

    More punishment for low-level murder

This is due to limited content on a highly populated server, adding AQ20, ZG, AQ40, Naxx people will be far too busy farming and raiding to run around with nothing to do until next reset. Autism rates get higher with lack of content. We experienced the same thing on Nost and especially during the relaunch. If you look way back at some earlier threads, many people that had 60s but planned on rolling on Elysium's fresh server purposely camped as many lowbies for a couple weeks straight with the said goal of deterring them from playing on the existing server. Now they are 60 on Elysium and yet do the same thing, maybe to feel good at the game? When they say they are good at basketball (PVP):

    Almost half guild temp banned

It was announced via the method of which they stated recently they would stop using as a primary form of communication as opposed to actually using the forums. ie: Discord. They have the "announcements" as a header in the forums, but only shows a recent announcement and not all announcements. So it got buried shortly after it was displayed.

    Noob Questions about Warriors

For PVP you should stay in berserk stance in case of fear, swap to battle stance for charge opener if you can get it off.

    New Tank Build

@feit Thunderclap reducing attack speed by 10% is like having 10% dodge. Why wouldn't you apply it when you can? It is the best rebuff for survivability you can put on a mob outside of Thunderfury / Icy Weapon. To sum up your question about stance dancing and the Crestfall 2019 fanboys, in 5/10 mans it isn't all about threat. You are a large percent of the group DPS as well and you still have concussive blow, taunt, mocking blow as needed. 350+ dps on trash pulls isn't too shabby for a tank in 5/10 mans. What speeds up a run faster, is situational and a per pull based. You may stance dance specific pulls, others not.

    No it's not.

to cleave or not to cleave

Cleave > Heroic Strike when 2 + targets. Remember cleave still has a base threat before modifiers of 100 per target hit + damage done. So 2+ targets, revenge/shield slam + sunder main target while cleaving when possible. Though rage is usually an issue here, in 5 mans I usually don't sunder in favor of cleave to help dps targets faster to speed up the run. In 5 mans also, be sure to pool rage on the last mob in a pack and only use revenge/auto attack. So on your next mob pool you have rage to open with a cleave, and then revenge/shield slam the 3rd mob that didn't get his with cleave.
