    as of my last count roughly Horde had some like 15 guilds recruiting, where as alliance has like some 40+ guilds recruiting so far and as a Horde player this concerns me a bit ,but if must go through rough waters , rough waters I will go through till I get to shore... level 60 !

    That is quite interesting tbh, going Alliance might be the better call then

    Hey gents,

    Quick question, as the topic states is either of the factions recommended for mainly pve? Aka which faction has had better pve progression until now. I will be rolling on the fresh and most players tend to be on the Horde side, but i could use some better insight from the players that have been around longer. Also when it comes to the Alliance side, are there any classes that tend to be more on demand? I've read that Warlocks tend to be few on the Alliance side.

    Warlocks have higher single target DPS and a slightly less boring rotation, where mages have the best AoE.

    I've been testing around with locks on Retro wow and i am curious, am i supposed to downrank as a warlock? I seem to be running out of mana REALLY easily compared to a mage with similar gear

    Hey folks ,

    As the title states i could use some assistance in selecting a ranged dps for vanilla. I do enjoy both class archetypes but i could use some more experienced opinions on the matter.

    I am hesitant to roll a mage since they are really popular and i am afraid that i won't be able to get into a good guild that easy ( when compared to a lock). Leveling isn't also as easy but still decent.

    Locks on the other hand have the easier leveling, the free mount and chepa epic mount and their utility. What makes me hesitant to play a lock is the mendatory pre raid shard farming.

    When it comes to pure DPS performance, how close are the two classes?
