wingpuller 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 Some hunter may answer you better, but here is general guidance (PVE only): -MM as a must, nobody likes hunters without TS aura, and there's so many huntards around that if you want to be special snowflake its so easy to replace you; -pre raid gear spec, aiming for survival talents to reach hit cap so you can switch all before Surefooted to your liking: http://realmplayers.com/Talents.aspx#cbZViohthtfV0V0h -once in decent gear and need no +hit from talents: http://realmplayers.com/Talents.aspx#ce0M0xxZgVohtht +hit till cap, then agility > anything else if fully buffing/not slacking on consumables (depends on pieces though, some with raw ap/crit may have higher value). Hunters are easy, once raiding their BiS is tier gier. For weapon you go preraid (if AV than xbow from there, else engi rifle) > epic quest bow > chrom xbow > kt xbow.
Pwnjin 1 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) well for leveling you should be BM, your pet will tear everything + pewpew adds up also: boar is prolly the best pet for leveling, it has high armor and hp which is perfect, and he also have charge ability which is very convenient. Drain 19 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) While leveling, just go BM. A good pet with max skills will damn near solo the game for you. There isn't much reason to bother with the other talent trees until 40+, after BM is done. For gear, until you get to 60, pretty much the only thing to care about is agility. Monkey/Falcon stat groups are the best, but many low level classic items have Wolf stats (AGI/SPI), so you may have to settle for it. Once you're 40+, you can equip mail, but mail items usually don't have ideal stats, so you will sacrifice AGI/INT for armor. I'd say this is worth it on PVP, but if you're going PVE, you may as well equip whatever gives you the most DPS output, neglecting defense. If you're looking to rush mail at 40, take a look at this set, which is easy to get made: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?search=Tough+Scorpid For BOEs, many Hunters look for sets like this, which can get monkey/falcon on stats, if you're: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?search=bonelink But the stats for BOEs like these are random, meaning you might not ever be able to find the stats you want. wow 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 -pre raid gear spec, aiming for survival talents to reach hit cap so you can switch all before Surefooted to your liking: http://realmplayers.com/Talents.aspx#cbZViohthtfV0V0h -once in decent gear and need no +hit from talents: http://realmplayers.com/Talents.aspx#ce0M0xxZgVohtht Do i get it correctly? Level 60 Troll hunter with a bow (305/300) needs 9% - 1% (from +5 bow skill) - 3% (from Surefooted talent) = 5% more hit chance from equipment? (to never miss in ranged attack against 63 level mob (raid boss)).
wingpuller 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 Nah, thinks its more like you need 3% hit as a troll with bow. Never played troll so someone can correct me on it, orc master race, .
