Azuregos Randomly Resetting

Recommended Posts

We fight him in that position for over 5 minutes, and then randomly resets? No. It is not a leashing reset. Also leashing evade bugs the boss. If you look closely, I actually melee the boss 3 times as it's leashing and it goes down from 49% to 48%. Which means he's still actively in combat and not reset.

Azuregos doesn't evade when he resets (which is another bug entirely). He does have an anti-leashing mechanic, though, so fighting him well away from where you pulled him is risky for a boss with teleport and aggro drop mechanics.

Like I said before, we literally fought him there for over 5 minutes. And that was a 2nd attempt at it. The first attempt from my VOD you can clearly see him tanked in the same positioning and no resetting, the only difference is the horde raids wiped us and then Azuregos actually aggros onto them and walks around (not leashing mind you) for nearly 2-3 minutes killing random horde on his aggro table.

Also, we had multiple people (not getting teleported) in our 2nd 40 man raid that was holding off the horde that were still on aggro table.

This is not a leashing issue.

Call it what you want, but if you pull Azuregos away from where you first aggro him, there's a good chance he will reset on you. This came along with their anti-kiting mechanic they added.

OK so hes unlike literally every other mob in the game? Do you have a source for this?

Remove that so called anti-kiting mechanic if it even exists. It's complete dogshit. Kazzak and Azuregos are supposed to be kitable. EDs are not. Reported that with retail videos during early February already. Seems the consequences of an useless and not working as intended "anti-kiting" mechanic are getting bit more know now.

Teremus, Anachronos, Azuregos, even fkin Omen are to be kited.

If you are to bad to kill 1 hunter kiting an outdoor boss, you don't deserve it to reset and try get a tag on it.

You already have "phasing points" all over the 2 continents which were added long ago to reduce lag with massive active population. This is way enough as an "anti griefing" crap.

Azuregos has never regened hp during his resets until he gets back to where you pulled. This was true on the very first azuregos on Nost - Now

I can confirm it also happened on Anathema during Feb. Seen it first hand as a horde raid with the tag was getting wiped out and once the boss was resetting, another horde raid had retagged it without any HP regained by the boss. I believe the 1st horde raid which got cucked by this had reported the issue.

You can also just try to reproduce that reset-retag bug with no HP regain with any random mob out there btw.

Yet another reset happened for absolutely no reason (boss was getting taunted after every TP) to an ally raid, and it was way way closer to spawn point than in his video. It has also been killed a lot of times in between these 2 bridges without any problem so the distance from spawn point is completely irrelevant (and it patrols very close to that bridge btw just fyi).

But really, this patch is like the previous release on Elysium, several unexplained bugs, no fixes, and other things are just rushed and pushed over it.

Example: Warlock T2 Helm; 2 months of bug-reporting by multiple people, no fix.
