I played that mod a while ago after trying the original warcraft1, but I stopped playing after a few mission simply because my hand got numb from single micromanaging every single unit without attack move and doing that for 6 units in a tunnel passage level is just not fun. The mod solved that, made it much easier too because of that

I agree with nealio. There seems to be a misconception on classic servers that the main purpose of playing on one is to gank and camp people or whole areas. Probably because people praised wpvp as something that doesn't exist anymore on retail, saw some youtube videos of people shitting on healers in blackrock and think this is the way you have to play. The result are people running braindead into me, even when they are much lower level without a chance. Several people running after me in tanaris from the middle of the map to the sea for minutes. What vanilla is actually praised for is the community, playing on a server together without cross-servers, but with a majority of people making people hate and leave the server because of the way they behave, it's just sad and boring.

I was hoping that the situation improves with the introduction of BGs and took a 2 week break, but spending one evening in stranglethorn is just like it was before. Nothing changed, people still run around in groups just for the sake of camping quest npc so people can't get it done. I don't see how any of this is enjoyable, it's just boring to constantly corpse-run. I don't blame the devs, but the wpvp clowns nobody wants to have around Edit: I would like to know if there are any plans in the near future for a PvE realm, since this is unplayable Edit2: For the last 30 minutes I have been trying to kill a single mob in southern stranglethorn and got ganked by 3 different groups after respawning and attacking my first mob. People patrol on mounts just to shit on people

That's what I am hoping for, but looking at mentally 12 year olds like this, I'm concerned that it just keeps that way and I will have to look for a pve server

The quality of scripting has nothing to do with how players acting the way they do. You are missing the point.

This server is the by far worst level exeprience I have ever had. If your experience is based on running around in groups to camp people and killing quest NPCs, I can't stop you, but for every player that is not new to the game, it's just boring and tiresome. I have stranglethorn quests in my log for like 2 weeks because it's impossible to do anything. Releasing the honor system without BGs may be blizzlike, but the leads to a chaotic and unfun situation like we have now. I'm certain it will get better when BGs release
