    Horde lowbie gankers?

^ Ive seen this argument way too often. Sports are games too, but you don't see those players taking a dump in the middle of the game to grief others. MMOs are social games, where the pixels on the screen represent other actual people doing the exact same thing as you are.
  3. After reading through all this again I realize my english is terrible. Have only had a little sleep, excuse my grammar. x)
  4. For you wondering what this post is, it's basically me as a new player sharing my experiences on the server. Enjoy the read! So I search around the internet and eventually find "Elysium Project". The Idea of classic style WoW has always intrigued me, and finally having it a reality is amazing. Last I played World of Warcraft at all was at the release of Cataclysm where I got a Blood Elf Paladin to 85 and eventually quit. But before I got into the Nighthaven PvP server I decided to scroll through these very forums to check whats up. (I am not very familiar with pre-BC WoW So I wanted all info I could take). I shortly after some research found out that there are far more Horde players than Alliance, and Warrior is considered the hardest class to level. I like myself a challange so I decided to play as a Human Warrior. The first levels went smooth, as in the start of most games are. After a while I stated noticing relying on quest rewards only slowed down my progress a bunch. After lvl 10 I instinctively decided to learn 2 handed Swords to boost my dps, and there and then I decided to be a DPS Warrior. I've heard from multiple sources Warriors were usually considered tanks in dungeons, so once again I made a challange for myself. After running around in Stormwind like a rubber duck dipped in olive oil I search for a guild that would take me in and teach me the ways of classic, to doublecheck I didn't do anything stupid. The guild "Men of the West" Was the only ones to reach out their hands to me and I gladly accepted. I made some friends, I got and returned some favors, and do things as a nice and healty guildmate should. But eventually I decided to leave this guild for reasons not needed be brought up in the forums. During my travels I heard all the usual "oh those Horde" this and "oh those Horde" that. I will admit during my previous WoW:ing I've played on PvE realms cause I've always dislike PvP in MMOs in general. However, this server alone has proven PvP to be enjoyable for me. Back to the topic, I heard cries of ganks and those stupid Horde and so on. I don't really know if this is a stretch but I believe this is also the core reason racism exists, people only see 2 groups and fail to see that there can be bad apples in both piles. Both Alliance and Horde players gank players far lower level than themselves, they camp their corpse for hours on end, they wipe complete towns, kill people just humbly trying to quest. This is all part of the PvP aspect, as I've undoubtedly noticed during my adventures. x_x I've recently formed a guild, and I aim to spread the word of "true" honorable kills. A battle being fair and actually enjoyable for both parties and not someone preying on the other. The game isn't designed that way? No, you're right. Only the Honor system balance out the level differance to filter out useless kills from rewardning kills, but of course this doesn't stop players from killing eachother beyond the limit. And either if the Horde we pass doesn't go along with our standards, at least we've tried. One of the amazing things is when you walk up to someone in your opposing faction, knowing full well that you could get killed, and instead doing a bunch of emotes, dancing around. That feeling of mutual consent of temporary peace. With that said, I'm gonna make the Horde reroll their alt cause they couldn't keep up with my sick deeps. Good day to you all.
