    Hunter Macros & Tips [Redux]

Thanks for the hard work friend! Really appreciate some of these macros, quality of life improvements. I want to ask you though, isn't it important to have a line to make your pet stop attacking in your FD+trap macro? It seems to me that I enter combat instantly if my pet is still attacking something when I go to trap, preventing me from laying a trap and essentially wasting FD.

    Young Hunters Tutorial

Took a quick look, it seems ok for really new hunters, but as someone who has played for a long time I kind of laughed at the information. Keep in mind, soloing with a hunter is much different than raiding, and both of those things are much different than pvp. Macros are a big part of hunter mastery, and having good keybinds for everything. I would also like to note that, with some finesse, having a good melee weapon to swap to (with help of a macro) is very valuable. Most of the time your melee weapons are just stat sticks, but when you get up close and personal you can quickly swap to a big, slow 2h weapon and do a lot of damage with a raptor strike! Works well in soloing and PvP when you are not always at range. For raiding, you should never be meleeing really.

Which class would synergize best with a BM hunter for pvp?

A weakness for BM hunter is generally fear classes and melee that gets close and doesn't let you get away. Paladin, priest, or druid would be my top pick for a PvP partner. But whatever you can play proficiently would go well with BM.

Which class would synergize best with a BM hunter for pvp?

BM seems quite versatile in PvP really, but the obvious choice would be s9me sort of hybrid that can cc, heal, and damage as needed. At least while leveling, BM hunter feels like godmode in world PvP so long as you can confuse people and pressure them enough that they don't know whether to attack you or your pet. Ideally, pet goes in and wrecks face while you kite and harass. So, classes that can dispel, buff, and keep the pet alive would be obvious picks.
