I'm having the same issue reported here: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/77069-cant-login/ Happens with fresh install of BC, with or without my VPN activated. I played on this server when it launched, but took a break for school. I think it's a dead server.

Client seems to be bugged at logging into server. I can access the server select screen and click "Stormrage". It attempts to load, then kicks me back to the server selection. I have characters on the server and played some time ago. I tried connecting with and without a VPN to verify if my ISP was blocking access. Same results (unable to connect). Judging by the forums, I'm not the only person experiencing this issue. Is there an issue with the server?

Try running the game in windowed mode. Go to the shortcut on desktop. Use -Windowed command line at the end of target line, like this: This should allow your game to load in a window. If it does, go to the video settings and adjust them all to default and exit game. Remove the -Windowed command line and see if that fixes it. You can also try adding the command line -d3d11 at the end of the Target line to force WoW to use DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 12 (you can also try -d3d9 to force DirectX 9, but that seems overkill (but it might work)). Also, maybe one of your overlay compatible programs need to be updated or disabled: Here's a list of common overlay programs: Discord Xfire RadeonPro (you said you have nVidia, so probably don't have this) MSI Afterburner (in case you use MSI video card with nVidia chipset) Dxtory Mumble EVGA Precision Airfoil Taksi Xbox Game Bar (the silly Microsoft game recording program, I disable mine. It automatically loads when any game is detected) Try updating any of these (if you have any). Also, you can try disabling any of these, to see if they are causing conflict. It sounds like it could be this issue because the game is loading and you can see it with the press of Esc key (even if it's just a flash).

I get sporadic disconnects. Kinda frustrating. When I try to connect after a disconnect, it takes a minute or two before it lets me (my login screen goes to server selection, as if Stormrage is down and I can't log into Stormrage). I'm typing this after yet another disconnect.

I use BadBoy. It auto blocks based on key words. I don't even see the message in my chat window when a spammer tries to send a message. Here's the 2.4.3 version of the addon: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/bad-boy/files/all?filter-game-version=2020709689%3A41 and here's what it looks like in game (look at chat window in lower left, it just says "Complaint Registered" and the player name).

Alternatively, I used BadBoy for 2 days, which is automated and have had 0 issues with spammers now. I agree with this, it's ridiculous. 4-5 times a minute on average for whispers and sometimes I get gnarly batches of channel invites. I /ignore each one, but it's getting to be too much. I think there was a macro back then that somebody wrote that could automatically /ignore the last person to whisper you or send you invites. If I find it, I'll post here.

Wouldn't be able to do Tempest Keep or dungeons leading up to "The Eye". Since we wouldn't be able to do the TK dungeons (Arcatraz specifically), we wouldn't be able to finish the attunement for Karazhan. Since we wouldn't be able to do "The Eye" we wouldn't be able to kill Al'ar for the Black Temple attunement quest. We also wouldn't be able to do Doom Lord Kazzak (outdoor raid boss). Not to mention we wouldn't be able to gain reputation with certain factions (like the Netherwing faction). Plus, flying was required in order to get some of the areas for the daily quests (for reputation and gold). All in all, a terribad idea (so bad that it's both terrible and bad together).
