Hi, my account, mcfuck123 was banned for the reason of abusive text to a GM over a miniscule issue. So I am here to write an essay as to why it is not appropriate to disrespect the GM's and server devs.
Essay:
After carefully reviewing my actions and my way of handling a situation I felt was unfair, I found that how I handled the situation was out of line. My grandfather once told me "Do not open the door to the devil and his evil ways." That is exactly what I did. I let my anger and frustration get the best of me over a small issue that I could have easily brushed off. Many times, people fail to see the larger picture and place blame where blame is not to be placed. I read a book once about a young boy who was rude to the people that cared for him, and so they placed retribution upon him. The situation is the same here. I was extremely rude to the GM's of the server over this issue, and so I received retribution. My actions were wrong. The GM's work extremely hard to create a stable environment for people to congregate and play a video game with one another. I realize now that my toxicity that I should've had a better hold on is the very unstable climate that they try to remove from their server. The GM's are there for the people, and by acting as I did, I earned myself a ban. I would like to apologize for my actions and ask for forgiveness from the GM's as well as the community as a whole. Disrespect should not be given to anyone, regardless of whether you lose your cool over an issue you have. Players should always respect those who work day and night to provide a good experience for those who play on their server, and disrespect to anyone, especially that person, is a hindrance to their work. A curmudgeon mood does not justify the language and tone I took with the GM Shogumz. I would like to apologize to him specifically for thinking that tone would ever be OK to use with him. I would ask that he and I could possibly talk about it in game, and that I could move forward as a more respectful member of the community. For the GM or dev that has to read this, I want to thank you for the work you do as well as having the patience to put up with people who treat them poorly, as I did to Shogumz.
I made my mistake. I own my mistake. I now come to the elysium staff to ask for their forgiveness.
