That's a very good questions All players have access to the Pre-Raid Best In Slot gear in Shattrath, It is not locked to just raiding guild/players. Heroics and instance runs are to be done during off-raid time and are meant to be done by players who are able to get a group together.

Lok'tar Ogar & Wel-met Champions! The Elysium Project is searching to recruit more guilds for Raid and Instance Testing on our Burning Crusade Beta Server. The guilds we are enlisting must have past raiding experience and a solid raid team between 20-40 people. Raid times are to be chosen by the guild’s raid leader. The only requirement we ask is for the guild to raid at a minimum of 2 times per week including weekends. Players interested in testing instances will need to create them during off-raid times. This is to ensure full attendance towards the larger raids. Our raiding guilds will receive a level 70 boost by an active GM in game, as well as access to Best In Slot gear before Karazhan Raiding. The current list of Raids that require testing are below; - Gruul's lair - Magtheridon's lair - Zul aman - Tempest keep - Serpentshrine cavern - Hyjal - Black temple - Sunwell Karazhan has been tested but will still be subject to testing. If you would like to get your guild apart of the server and help us raid test please make sure everyone on your raid team is set up with an account through our website. DarknessCalls is correct, We had a few issues with the merge testing which forced us to rollback the server to 12 hours previous of the merge testing. We do apologize for the inconvenience and we hope you enjoy your stay!

Lok'tar Ogar & Wel-Met Champions! We're excited to finally announce the character merge process has been completed! After all the precautionary measures taken, our previous servers Darrowshire PvE and Elysium PvP have been merged into our current Nighthaven PvP realm. We have roughly 2.000.000 (2 million) characters merged among all three servers and 150.000.000 (150 million) quests finished. Only 20% of total characters coming from Elysium PvP and Darrowshire PvE will receive a name change, Nighthaven having the priority in case of character name duplicates. Unfortunately, the merged characters will lack their spell abilities and items places on their action bars and all the crafted items in bags or bank will appear as "Created by yourself". Guilds will not be transferred, and will not be providing your old guild names if they're already taken on the Nighthaven realm unless certain conditions are met. Please write a ticket in-game and one of our Game Master's will happily assist you as soon as possible. A cleanup of the database has taken place along with a wipe on all Nighthaven deleted characters in order to reduce the size of the database. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
