/r/wowservers is so toxic to Elysium, even though it's a very well-run server with a solid population and good community. Light's Hope is closing and people will start trickling to other servers, and they will go to places like reddit to find out the best one's available. If everyone is trashing Elysium any time it's brought up most of the Light's Hope refugees will go to Kronos or somewhere else. It would benefit Elysium's future if they came here, but a lot of people are going to stay away because of the bad juju. /r/wowservers will never come around to accepting Elysium, but if we could have our own subreddit that moderated the naysayers we could actually build some good hype. It's good that these forums exist, but they will never ever ever replace the exposure that a subreddit would offer, it's just a much bigger platform.
