FYI: I am not asking for you to open a PvE server, but in the past , when you were making the decision to close and merge servers, you should have left the PvE up and then gave ppl the choice to flag themselves for PvP through as option on their portrait Blizzard did that, so I know it's possible. As for now, that should still be an option. As for your other point, it's still aggravating to have these high level players, which I'm sure are probably between the age of 9 -11, running around killing ppl. They don't have the balls to attack players of their own level. Hopefully, when school is back in session, I will give the game one more try. But as it stands, it's a LOSER to me.

Well, believe it or not, some of us enjoy playing solo. But that doesn't matter now, because I'm through. Can't level with the high level players run through and constantly killing you. Money is hard enuogh to make on here w/o having to constantly spend it on repair. This is not fun. Deleting my account. I will wait for Blizzards Classic WoW. I don't mind paying for something I enjoy playing. Goodbye. Good luck. It was fun for a while.

As much as I really enjoy playing Vanilla WoW,, I must admit that this is not the Vanilla that I remember, because at no time, in the Original Vamilla was I forced to play PvP. I don't like PvP, nor do I care anything about being a low level player being ganked by a level 40 or higher. We should have the option, as it was in the Original game to turn off PvP , if we wish not to participate. Controlling the way people have to play the game this way, makes you no better than Blizzard. I would make donations to this project, but since I don't support this type of forced play style, I think I'll just hold on to my money. Free Will, ppl.

Well, thnx for that info, but can you tell how long this will go on. I don't have time to stand around waiting on gifts to respawn, it is the holidays and I have guest who don't want to see me sitting around watching a game. So do we just have today or til Jan 1, or what?

Since everyone was so helpful with my last problem, I thought I would come and ask a couple of other questions. One, is on the technical side, but maybe it can be answered here. My brother and I are both playing the Classic WoW, but we seem to have some interference on our connections when we are on at the same time. We live together and share a wired internet connection through a router. I was wondering if there were certain ports we need to be on, because if we're both on at the same time, one of us is getting disconnected, especially when trying to either log in or after we have chosen a character to enter the game with. We run together, because this is his first time playing Vanilla and I played when the game first came out. He's played regular WoW, but this is a whole new experience for him. Any help would be appreciated. My next questions is about the Christmas event. I can't seem to find a way to get from Darnassus to Stormwind, in order to take the tram to Ironforge, to meet up with Father Christmas. When I first played Classic WoW, I don't think I even thought about going to Stormwind, so never explored how to get there. I just went where the quest sent me on my own little continent. So is there a way or do I have to play on the TBC server in order to get to Stormwind. If so, no biggie, I'll just stay here and continue my journey. Not ready to move on, since I'm really just enjoying this experience.

Hi, I'm new here, great game, almost pure vanilla. Thank you. Now my problem is that now that I've reached 15 and am now almost a level 16, I still cannot access the chat channels. I have tried typing /join General, but nothing happens. When I hit enter, it still comes up as just "say". Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, plz? Thank you.
