The odd thing is when I looked up the vanilla US servers there are more PvE than PvP... (especially when you include the RP servers which are almost all PvE). I'm not sure why the private server community loves PvP, but I'll take your word for it that there aren't enough PvE players to support a server.

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I will not stick around on this PvP server constantly getting ganked for no reason once there is an option... Even a paid one. Once WoW classic comes out I can't see myself subjecting myself to the annoyance of a PvP server.

I love this game, but I would pay 100 bucks to not have to constantly have my time wasted by high level people ganking me. I don't see why people like this and if I had an option I wouldn't play on PvP server, but unfortunately I can't.
