I'm thinking something like that too.
I tried a different mouse, another older Logitech mouse (? model, again no specific Win 10 drivers since it's older) which is doing the same thing. However, this one has a DPI setting so I can turn that up to compensate so all is good.
When I get home, I'll plug these mice into my PC that isn't having a problem (but with a totally different, modern mouse) to narrow down what's causing the issue.
