So I've been away a while.. Honestly, I got completely lost in the ^&*%storm that happened when Lights hope appeared, and somehow my account ended up on their database. I played there for a while with a friend since that's where our accounts were. Then suddenly I couldn't log in there because of some bollocks 2FA that happened (that i didn't set up. yet they insist I did.) But anyway... I digress, that's not your problem...
So i came back here to register an account since I want to just faff about before the real classic launches (I'm being honest here.) So I tried to register, and it turns out my account is already here.. complete with characters I left behind (or possibly even started on lights hope? I forget). Score, I thought. So I enticed my friend to come back, yet your database doesn't seem to think his E-mail address has ever existed in it, and he's had to register a new account. I scowered the forum trying to find a resolution, and all I've managed to find is several people saying their accounts don't exist, with the answer being "you wont be able to access your characters as the servers are merging etc etc". Though the point here is my friend's account DOESN'T EXIST. Right now I could care less about which realm his characters are on, he can't actually log in to the game. If my account is still here, why not his?
Frankly it's not all that important, since we probably wont be here in a month anyway. But I remember having similar issues previously with the support around here being pretty god awful and borderline ignorant.
Having said that, a little light shed on the matter wouldn't go amiss.
