I don't understand this error im getting when trying to sell a character. It sounds like a design flaw in the character selling system. Is it 6 days total playing time across all characters, or 6 days total playing time on one character?

I looted 3 giant clams in Stranglethorn Vale and they had absolutely nothing. I know these are always supposed to drop a blue pearl and clam meat yet every time I looted one, it simply opened without a loot interface and when I clicked on it again, it gave me an error stating something along the lines of, "That is already being looted." Bug? And before you ask, my WDB folder is cleared.
