So just to preface this point I want to say I'm a long time dps, warrior/rogue/lock/mage, been playing on and off since vanilla and like to think of myself as pretty good. But as of 2 weeks ago I finally maxed my Shaman and started healing and just wow. Crushing rating, got hot streak for the first time, and have met generally better players for it. Now it's no surprise healing isn't as popular, and just like the sea of dps that couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel you have that same caliber player trying to heal, they just seem more prevalent because it's a smaller pool. Therein lies my point: How can blizz incentivise healing? Make honor related awards transferrable through your characters? Gold? Rewards from achievements that require healing? MyMileStoneCard
