I'm very sorry to hear that you too have left. I remember meeting you & working with you in the beginning and taking pride in what I managed to achieve, however small my contribution to the private server community was. I felt just like you: thankful that I could play my part in shaping the server. While I resigned, you fought on for what you believed in, and for that reason you are one of the few people in the staff I respect and look up to. Good luck!

All I can do is wish you guys luck and keep following the project so that I may, one day, see, and take part in its definite success. Initially, I joined the "Valkyrie" project in hopes that I might play an important role in the restoration of the version of the game that you guys all know and love, and once Elysium opened, I could do nothing but concentrate my efforts on improving the server and work towards making WoW great again. Ever since my unfortunate depature, I witnessed the degree of staff-to-player cooperation and professionalism that I always wanted to bring to the scene, and that is truly great. I would like to congratulate the Administration for doing its best to connect with the players and fix its past mistakes, and the players as well for being so supportive.

Greetings! If you start experiencing issues with the realmlist that was provided to you by Xyterpro, you can switch to Valkyrie's standard realmlist, which is SET realmlist "logon.valkyrie-wow.com". We usually advise people to use the numerical realmlist as a workaround to server-side issues, and we have received reports of improper behaviour as a result of randomly using it. Sincerely, Queeky.

You state many things, yet bring no evidence to support your claims, Angren. Vague statements with no proof attached to then might as well be disregarded. Considering you didn't even bother to explain your issues in greater detail, or back up your claims via various types of evidence, or patch-appropriate text fragments, it is safe to say your post is flawed. What I mean to say by this is that there's no point in complaining if you won't bother explaining why. The Cyrilic text you are seeing is present because Valkyrie's purpose used to be uniting people from the Russian Federation, so the majority of our realm's players are Russian, however, we decided to open Elysium because we want to provide a safe and welcoming enviornment for English-speaking Vanilla enthusiasts.

Actually, Elysium's staff does not live in the Russian Federation. Leaving that aside, I would much rather not speak on this subject, but it is safe to say we won't be going anywhere considering we have been actively fighting and promoting WoW emulation and have yet to experience legal issues.

Content will be released progressively, but gear stats will not be modified, primarily because of the risks which would come with such a change (we could experience core issues and other such things as a result of the change), and because of the time and resources that would be required to implement progressive itemization. Now, I will go ahead and answer your second and third questions: The servers are not located in Russia, but in the European Union (France, to be more specific), but Valkyrie WoW has been around for seven years, and it is highly unlikely that it wil get shut down by Blizzard Entertainment. I believe it is adequate to clear this up once and for all: Our ruleset clearly prohibits multiboxing (defining it as controlling multiple characters via software or macros, for the sake of annoying people or gaining an unfair advantage) and limits multiaccounting to two simultaneously active accounts per users with which said user can only engage in solo Player versus Enviornment activities. You may not multiaccount for the purpose of disrupting the server's safety or to influence the other players' gaming experience. An important point in our rules and regulations is that any actions the staff deems inappropriate will also be dealt with regardless if they are mentioned in the ruleset or not. With that being said, it is safe to assume that attempting to bypass our rules either by exploiting their wording or going to great lenghts to break them will earn you an account suspension. The battleground queue command was removed because it had the potential of driving away players due to its non-Blizzlike function, whereas the command to view hidden characteristics (.get) was removed because some people voted against it, and it can be easily replicated via macros, addons or mathematics. These commands may or may not be reimplemented, depending on player feedback.
