Spell data is 100% pulled from the client, which is why nobody does 1.4 talents, it's not possible without editing the client. The correct "spell" procc of BRE doesn't exist in the client, it was deleted.

You could see this coming from a mile away, as it was stated multiple times that the pvp gear would be unbuffed on Elysium and Zeth'Kur. It is your own fault when you invested so much time into grinding PvP items for either not paying attention, or just banking on the staff making a mistake and then be unwilling to fix it. Glad this is sorted out finally. As far as I know, Blizzard fucked up when they buffed BRE. Instead of making a new version of the item and removing the old one from the loot table, they hotswapped it and thus the same item ID is now used for two different items. The result here is that the updated BRE (wrong stats for current stats), is the only one remaining in the game files and the other one cannot be added. Since spell data (the procc) and item data (the item itself) is client based, the original old BRE cannot be added unless you modify the client.

No, you should ready my post again. The point was that you're never gonna get someone to buy an item for MORE than he wants to buy it for, always less. This decrapency exists and is inevitable. The argument holds. Market value is ALWAYS below what people on average are willing to pay for it. -

That is also ninjaing, don't excuse this behavior by using weaker language. It's arguably a worse offense, because when you ninja a bop item you merely do it to piss someone off, wheras ninjaing a BOE shows malicious intent. Every legal expert can tell you that intent makes any offense worse by several magnitudes. -

First fallacy is to assume that everyone needs gold equally. Tanks need significantly more gold to gear properly than any other class save for maybe DPS warriors. This is the first reason why the shoulders are a bigger upgrade for a tank than just the monetary value for any other player. The relative gold gain vs the the relative value for tanks for the item is not the same, and absolutely speaking, the item is worth more as an item than as its value in gold, simply based on this class discrepancy. Second, this is further aggrevated by the fact that classes can farm gold through normal means at different rates. Mages are one of the fastest farming class, warriors are arguably the slowest. Translate a supposed 300g sell value to amount of time spent farming the item: You will see the mage farmed for significantly less time for the same gold value than the warrior. Or in other words, 300g is worth a lot less to a mage than to a warrior, making the item more valuable for warriors than for anyone else. Third, you're not selling the item in the AH at the "true" value, you're selling it at a "atleast" value. There will inevitably some x amount of gold lost due to you not predicing 100% accurately how much a player is willing to pay for the item. Suppose for a moment that tank A is willing to pay at most 380 gold for the item, he will buy every shoulder for this amount and lower. However, seller B doesn't know this, so he's resorted to guessing and the most economically viable option is to go with the market average which not only trails behind the true values, but is also an aggregated value. You'll therefore lose 380 - market value in gold by selling it on the AH. This again makes the item more valuable than the gold value. The true value is whatever the player is willing to pay for it, the actual sell value is a deviation off this value. These three are facts, and are the direct proof for this completely shit argument that an upgrade is worth the same as its gold value for other players in the group. It's not. It's objectively and mathematically not. Stop perpetuating this myth. Lastly, and this is the most important fact, a significant majority of players disagree with needing on BOEs consistently between every server unless you want to actually equip it. There is a greed button, use it. You can delude yourself into making up arguments that let you live with a clear conssciousness, but this is a group game, you're not playing this solo: You will get blacklisted when you do it, whether or not you think it's an acceptable behavior You will get gkicked when you do it, whether or not you think it's an acceptable behavior You will get your character reputation ruined, whether or not you think it's an acceptable behavior You will not get into decent premades, guilds or parties, whether or not you think it's an acceptable behavior Your own opinion on this topic has literally zero value, the majority doesn't want you to do it, and you either obey this social contract, or you will live with the consequences. That's really the only thing that matters and the only argument you really need. -

I think I know what happened, he might have forgotten to clear his WDB folder, so to him it looks like the item has spell damage. Just a theory. -

I will It's relevant to the topic because we don't care what your opinion on the topic is, or if you think what you're doing isn't ninja looting. There will be consequences when you do it. That's all. -

Can you please stop arguing about this, he's already been blacklisted from 15 guilds so far, actions speak louder than words. He obviously doesn't care or want to learn that his opinion is simply a tiny minority and not acceptable, no matter how much he thinks it is. I hope the 200g was worth trashing your char for. -

You know there is a "I need gold" button on the roll window, right? It's literally called "Greed". Btw as of now, the ninja has been kicked out of two guilds already. Was really worth it, wasn't it? You're free to do that, however the majority of people disagree with you, ending up with the guy who ninja'd the shoulders where he fucked his character for good and will not be able to join any decent guild now. -

It should be noted that the general rules of decency and need vs. greed did not stop applying in this case. As of now the affecting player "Beerwizzard" has been kicked out of his guild and has been blacklisted from every major Horde guild and we are working together to inform every future "employment" the player seeks of his past habits. You may think that gold/monetary reasons constitute for a legitimate reason to roll need on an item, but you would be wrong. The majority of people consider this ninja looting and will take steps against you if still do it to sell the item. The greed button is the go-to option for wanting to sell the item. If nobody wants to use the item, you may opt to have everyone need instead, in that case it doesn't matter. This doesn't apply here though. You had your chance to correct your mistake, now live with the consequences. -
I keep trying to get an answer for this: One of my most favorite changes was the downgrade of the PvP equipment to pre 1.11 levels. I wiped my WDB folder several times and the stats on the items via Atlas seem to still be in the post-buff state. The complete silence on the staff on those issues is pretty worrying.

Cephei replied to catashtrophe's topic in Guild Recruitment
Name <Dankk Budz Collective> Description We are a very chill english speaking Horde raiding guild. We are based around accommodating both US and EU players. People know us from Nostalrius where we were an established raiding guild and one of the largest on Horde side for that matter, including being one of the very few guilds who ran two concurrent BWL raids that both were able to kill Nefarian before the server shut down. We're providing a mature, hardcore and competetive raiding environment, but without sacrificing the fun or too much of our real life for it. Timezones EU & US Saturdays (main raid day): 10pm CET, 4pm EST, 1pm PST Sundays (auxiliary raid day): Same times About 3-4 hours of raiding time for the main raid, a similar amount of time or less for the second raid day. We will be using an intelligent DKP system Objectives Competetive and hardcore raiding Pushing endgame content Speedrunning Having fun Links Discord Forum Apply on either of those Recruitment thread on the elysium forum We have a Teamspeak with 250+ slots -
