This ^ It was, and still is my opinion that Nostalrius chose to shut down when they did not need to. They sacrificed their player base in order to get jobs with Blizzard and potentially launch legacy servers. If they succeeded and Legacy is in the near future, awesome. If not, well... There is the possibility that they truly were at jeopardy and I'm blinded by losing my characters. The point here being that the C&D letters truly don't have any impact. Nostalrius could have moved the location of their servers like they did in the past. It is absolutely not a problem for us. If for whatever reason Blizzard followed through with their threats, the server could be moved to Russia and that would be that; Blizzard-be-gone.

So what you're saying is I can expect you to be running my alts through Scarlet Monastery? : )
