Just in case it wasn't clear enough - this is *not* a may-i-do-this sort of question. I blame such practices as much as the next legit guy. I'm looking for an official reply from the staff on the matter, as well as other people here. The reason it's in the help section, is because tickets in-game on the matter failed to be resolved.

Whatever works fine for me. i just want an official response form the staff, blaming such actions publicly.
-
Well that's false, you DO NOT lose queue if you log off, not right away. Besides I'm not asking if *I* can do it, i'm just asking what people think before i start pointing to those ruining the game by downright abusing this.

Weazool started following lvl 19 bracket queue rigging, queueing on both sides, To all the lovely tauren ladies! and and 1 other

this is about WSG19 on anathema, a pretty mcuh dead bracket atm. If someone queues both the alliance and horde bracket, joins both, /afk's on one side and plays on the other, isn't it against the rules? If someone queues one side, get a game to pop, doesnt join, switches to the other side and queues and joins instantly does this not mean queue rigging? If somone spends some time in queue, on their twink, and since the WSG doesnt pop, decides to queue on the horde alt too "to get a easy game going", is this not against the rules?

the orginal post is a bout mobs detecting at the wrong distance, not players. as far as i can tell it works okay on players in my oppinion too.

To all the lovely tauren ladies!

Hahahaha, funny as f*ck. Kinda weird too. -
I'm no longer MoD specced, but perhaps one of us should make a video showing the rogue getting spotted by lower or equal level mobs at non-corresponding distances with the way it should be. Post it here and on the bugtracker. Perhaps even a new ticket, if old ones aren't getting attention.

Many thanks. i will do so once he's created his account and settled on a class for his twink (and implicitly a character name)

Hi there. I want to sponsor a RL friend's future account with gold and twink items (we want to play our twinks together but he has no time to get the gold himself) How can i ensure i dont get banned for gold trafficking or some offence that said sponsoring may be mistaken as? Thanks!

once again, i'm not comparing it to retail stealth, i'm comparing it to my own memories running mod in VANILLA times. while i didn't notice anything wrong in PVP. with mod 5/5, nelf racial and stealth rank1 i get detected by mobs lower than me (i'm lvl 19, mobs lvl 17-18) quite a few yards away. Anyone bump into anything similar?
-
Beg you pardon. In vanilla, at lvl19, mod5/5 i sneaked hundreds of times inside wailing caverns, to fish at the dreamer's rock. I didnt get spotted as easily WITHOUT the nelf racial. But don't take my word for it there's bound to be others that remeber these things. Also please stop posting the "without mod its useless" argument, it's MOOT. I asked for opinions about stealth WITH mod5/5, not WITHOUT
-
Okay, same opinion here, anybody else?

If you guys were to join a WSG game, and notice it's only you and a bunch of other lvl10 geared in vendor-bought white-names items, and said teammates keep joining and joining and joining and doing basically nothing useful (hiding behind trees or attacking the oposing faction's pets) while the other team's twink keep racking marks. How likely would you say it is for this to mean the game's actually rigged by the other side? They'd get banned right? is there a system in place for that, or would old-fashined reporting work here? How about having twinks both sides, and jumping boat on wichever side's got the upper hand to ensure a constant streak of wins regarless of account. that cool too, huh? No seriously, what is bannable here and what is not? Cos sometimes stuff gets pretty ridiculous.

Since we're done explaining how stealth works, may we return to my original question wich is regarding the detection range - too large? thoughts?
