I need your help everyone to help find additional evidence/sources to prove: Weapon + Trinket + Enchant + Item proc crits do not trigger the Paladin talent Vengeance Not denying the issue. Can you find more examples so we can be certain some of the other examples should proc Vengeance? Nano — — 2016/12/26 21:12:32 Anyone who knows of or can find additional evidence or video proof, please upload here or on the bug tracker link directly. Thanks

sorry im sick as fook and high on meds - didnt see it - thanks
-
what was its proc rate before?
-
no the original change was in 1.11 - Battle Shout should generate some threat but nowhere near as much as it did previously on Nost or other private servers - the change is 100% Blizzlike as I stated in my earlier post
-
yes at a 10-12% rate of spell dmg

Warriors rejoice from today's patch notes!

LOL you bitches got pwnd by the Killer of Dukis!

I guess it needed my touch in the bug tracker writeup - not yours lol

Paladin fixes in today's patch notes: Mobs no longer build threat while crowd controlled by disabling effects. - fixes - CC'd Targets still generate Healing threat when they should only be focused on the Player who CC'd them Paladins now generate half as much threat from healing. - fixes - Paladin Healing Threat should be 0.25 not 0.5 Gyth no longer hates healers so much at the beginning of his fight. - without a taunt, this fight was essentially impossible for Prot Paladins to tank (Bloodlord Mandokir in ZG though might be similarly bugged) Fixed Holy Light's bonus healing coefficient. - this wasn't written up on the bug tracker but I guess Holy Light's scaling with +Healing wasn't working properly

It's going to be harder as we cannot use Seal of the Crusader + Consecration anymore but at the same time, you will also be limited to only 8 debuff slots on the fresh server as well so you won't be able to put up JotC either most likely. It was a tough slog for me as well since at the time Consecration was taking up an invisible debuff slot on the nost pvp server - so what I did was have the guild craft a Nightfall for me and I was the requisite Nightfall proc debuff guy. I would advise you to do the same seeing as now SoR can proc Nightfall we have the highest uptime of any class in the game for the raid wide +15% magic dmg debuff. That way you can at least get gear as your guild progresses and keep in mind that in early patches, Tier 1 Lawbringer and Tier 2 Judgement have uber good Ret stats that the Holy Paladins wont want.

the spell is in the holy tree - hence why I put it under "Holy"

added new bug affecting SoR in PvE against higher level targets: Seal of Righteousness (SoR) should never have partial resists
-
It generates some threat but nowhere near what it previously did and according to Duki: "they use "multiplicative" at patch 1.11 threats instead "stacking" pre 1.11 patch - so battle should multiply up to 5 targets affected but it divide to all enemies" 1.11 patch was the changes according to kenco guide when they revamp the threats system
-
added these 2 bugs to the list: Paladin Healing Threat should be 0.25 not 0.5 CC'd Targets still generate Healing threat when they should only be focused on the Player who CC'd them
-
removed Divine Favor bug and added: Paladin One-Handed Weapon Specialization talent isn't properly boosting **ALL** damage done by by 2/4/6/8/10% when using a 1handed weapon

The changes they made to Battle Shout here on Nost/Elysium are Blizzlike. In mid vanilla Blizzard changed Warrior Shouts and their AoE threat - previously my raiding guild used multiples Warriors using Shouts to put out AoE threat on Nefarian phase 1 add spawns but later on when this all got nerfed we had to switch and use Consecration and Warlock AoE to keep them in the alcoves and from running to and 1shotting healers.

For Reck Bombs SoR is now King by far - especially if you have proc items, lifestealing enchant since they will proc on both whtie and SoR procs as well as scales with spell dmg. As for 40man raids, last night was my first raid in MC since relaunch and the instance is very very bugged so it was hard to gauge what is best. The Lava Surger and Core Hound pats have like a 100 yard agro range and Lava Spawns were running through walls so we ended up wiping multiple times - then the server crashed at Baron Geddon so we weren't able to finish things off. For big yellow numbers in PvE, SoC is still ahead, but for solid steady DPS my gut is telling me that SoR is also better to use as well.

added divine favor bug to the list

I don't want to get into the argument for Lifestealing enchant but as far as the argument whether the axe Drain Life proc scales with spell damage: Neretzek, The Blood Drinker Binds when picked up Two-hand Axe 202 - 303 Damage Speed 3.70 (68.2 damage per second) +21 Strength +16 Stamina Durability 120 / 120 Requires Level 60 Chance on hit: Steals 141 to 164 life from target enemy. Did in fact scale at a very high scaling % of spell dmg as can be seen in this screenshot: Which is from the YouTube video: Xolkar 20/0/31 Paladin PvP https://youtu.be/Pk_kHHI0t4o?t=95 Uploaded on Aug 13, 2006

You swap seals when your swing animation, of any sorts, happens. Even if it isn’t a seal of command proc you can swap seals and still have SoJ proc off your white attack with this method. Seal of Command MUST be your starting seal, from there you can swap seals to any of the other seals that are procs. However, the only ones that would serve a high benefit is Seal of Justice, and for those lucky souls, Seal of Blood. Seal of Command has a 1 sec internal cool down, also the reason it wont proc off of windfury or reckoning twice. These mechanics where put in place because before you could swing with a white attack and then your seal of command could be out of range, so they put them closer together, and this was their method. Exploiting or creative use of mechanics? No one knows except Blizzard, but this is a make-shift substitute for a spell interrupt that is long over due. TL;DR: 1. put on seal of command 2. right as your swing animation happens (normal, socomm proc, or crit) swap seals to SoJ or SoB 3. Profit` http://web.archive.org/web/20080706232318/http://www.retpaladin.com/warcraft/2008/05/how-to-seal-twist/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What exactly is seal twisting? It's using 2 seals at one time per swing. What combination of seals can you use per seal twist? Anything that has seal of command with it (works effectively with seal of justice and seal of blood specifically). Note: It's not a 100% proc rate, it's only when seal of command procs. How do you do it? First you need to get a swing timer mod, I personally suggest Quartz ( but any mod with one will work) Second.. You must have seal of command up before you attempt to do this. Third.. Right before you swing ( about .1 seconds before you swing) you activate another seal such as blood or justice and you will get an extra seal proc if your seal of command procs Basically it'l go like this Seal of command -> Right before swing cast Seal of (whatever) - > seal of command procs + an extra seal procs. You must have command up in order to do this, you cannot twist from seal of justice to seal of command or seal of blood to command.. it has to be command to blood or command to justice. The thing with this is, it uses alot of mana but it's definantly worth if your horde and you get it to proc. Why? You will get 2 blood procs and one command proc.. You get 1 seal of blood proc from your white swing and since your command proc counts as melee, you will also get another blood proc. So basically White swing + seal of command + seal of blood + seal of blood = pwnage (in one swing).` http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/world-of-warcraft-guides/153093-how-paladin-seal-twist.html - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF8Wqe6Tzss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5YpDd4z7gw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygvWHckU6AQ

This appears to be true and IIRC SoR can only proc off of a white attack not a yellow (ie: off of SoC) - as when I first tested it out several years ago back on feenix, the dev there said that was how it was coded. However, I was able to boost SoC proc dmg by Seal Twisting SotC into the mix to get the AP bonus: All in all Seal Twisting is a difficult art to master - especially with the server lag since launch - has anyone else been successful with trying it out?

Random Paladin Discussion (only regarding Paladin issues and stuffs related to Paladins)
Theloras replied to killerduki's topic in Paladin
Duki - would 1hand specialization talent also boost ALL damage when a 1handed weapon is equipped such as Consecration as well as say Lifestealing enchant, proc items/trinkets? -
Stack as much spell damage and get as many proc items as you can and put Lifestealing enchant on your weapon = profit in both PvE and especially as Reck spec in PvP

Not even with Imp SoR talent but I did Judge Crusader first and am stacking around 220 spell damage or so with Sanctity Aura up as well - my current spec is 0/26/26. And yes, Fire Strike is from: Fiery Plate Gauntlets Binds when equipped Hands Plate 379 Armor +10 Fire Resistance Durability 45 / 45 Requires Level 53 Equip: Adds 4 fire damage to your weapon attack.
