standard instant cast spell scaling at 43% then you add the following for either Fiery Blaze or Lifestealing: +10% from Imp Scorch or Shadow Weaving +10% from CoE or CoS +15% from Nightfall

I personally go Dorf as number 1 class for Ret mainly due to having Stoneform in PvP to break Rogue blinds but Smiter prefers Humans as he only does PvE. Bottom line is if u won't be doing much or any PvP than go Human - if you plan on PvPing a decent amount, then I would recommend Dorf by far. Enjoy!

As I said earlier Fiery doesn't scale with spell damage or debuffs but Fiery Blaze does (Imp Scorch, CoE or Nightfall) and so does Lifestealing with both spell damage and debuffs (Shadow Weaving, CoS and Nightfall). Fiery doesn't scale but Lifestealing does - that's the difference - plus it scales with Shadow Weaving, Curse of Shadow, Nightfall, etc... Don't forget that both the damage and healing of the proc can both crit.

Fiery Blaze actually has the highest proc rate of any weapon enchant in the game at a flat 15% so the faster the weapon, then the greater the proc chance - plus it is also an AoE attack as well: Fiery Blaze Enchantment Binds when picked up Use: Enchants a weapon to have a 15% chance to inflict 9 to 14 Fire damage to all enemies within 3 yards. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=5421 Otherwise I would take Lifestealing over the regular Fiery enchant any day of the week seeing as it can used on all bosses in the game, it also scales with spell damage/debuffs and since it's also a heal, you get bonus threat from that.

I would just like to say that after spending the past few years playing on various private Vanilla servers, it was an absolute pleasure to ding earlier this evening, pick up Seal of Command from my Retribution talent tree and find it working absolutely perfectly and blizzlike for the first time since actual retail WoW. Kudos to the devs here for taking the time and effort to make this seemingly unworkable yet absolutely critical Ret Paladin spell mechanic and making it work here on Elysium. It's 0.5 second proc delay even works here: HUZZAH!!!
