New player on Elysium (like everyone else). I have previously played on several other failed Vanilla-servers and was wondering about the faction balance here. To my experience it's a huge problem for private server projects if the balance becomes too skewed (obviously more so than on any X-realm retail server). No one is interested in either 30 min BG queue times on one side or being completely ripped in open world on the other side. I have heard a lot of discourse over the faction balance on Elysium - that the balance should be skewed. So far I am unable to find any information on this on the website. Would it be an idea to release some data or create a pool so we can be proactive in the approach to this issue. I am not die hard to either Horde or Alliance, so I don't care what faction I have to choose. But if the server is skewed 80-20 in either direction then its not a hard choice.
