Ah, that could be it, at least regarding talents (although 53 at lvl, like, 16 or something is still more than one would get for tbc even); I, too, thought that wasn't introduced until at least TBC but looked it up online and certain sites suggested it was in vanilla so I took their word. Although I'm not too worried about the talent points, and that doesn't explain the LITANY of other crucial hunter problems that gimp them, such as: -No place on pet bar for growl, their special attacks, etc..... -Pets that are commanded to attack often (at lvl 6, max, loyalty even) do not receive the command and just sit in place -Pets that actually successfully receive the "go attack" command run up to mob, then sit there and don't attack at all most times -Pets that actually successfully receive the "go attack" command, run up to mob, and ACTUALLY attack, never or close to never employ growl (and, again, there is no slot where their should be on their bar to manage growl usage) Elysium REALLY needs to fix these ENORMOUS hunter bugs because it makes playing my favorite class FAR more difficult and FAR less enjoyable, and I'm only one Elysium to play as my old main (a hunter). I have a hard time seeing myself continuing to play for too much longer if they don't fix hunter pets and they leave them so completely broken >.<
