I am going through the exact same thing. Didn't log on for close to a week, found out I was banned. Upon posting on ban appeals I was banned for spamming gold services. I can only blame myself since I used same account info on WoW-Rebirth and another private server. In the post they asked me to change my PW and 2FA which I have since done. Been almost a week now and no further communication other than they would investigate and let me know if my account would be reactivated. My char was only lvl 26 which isn't so high but it just sucks to start all over again. Hope your case gets resolved soon bro.

So I found out via Ban Appeals that my character was online spamming gold sale sites. My account has been compromised, I was instructed to change my PW, and use 2FA and then post again on the Ban Appeal thread once that was done. I was able to enable 2 Factor Authentication. When I try to change my account PW either via the "Forgot my Password" button on the login, it pops up an error. I see the text: Oh. Something went wrong. :( Internal Server Error When I access the control panel and use the "send me the password reset email" it would send me the password reset email. When I clicked the link in the email as instructed, it simply brings me back to the control panel main page with nothing changed. I tried to change my PW last night, as well as this morning and got the same issues. As of right now, I can't even access the control panel page, not sure if it's just server traffic overload or something.

I actually tried to report a mage that was doing this to me also. I got a response from the GM that it was not behavior harassment, and that there was nothing he could do. The mage was fighting with me over limited mobs for a farming quest, if I tagged first he would just sheep. Was pretty counterproductive because the longer the mob stayed alive, the longer it would take everyone to farm the items.. Was strange, every time the mage would sheep the mob, it would regen to full and my pet would stop attacking (I am a hunter).

I just started here after finding out about the server on WoW Private Server Reddit under Vanilla servers. Didn't really find it through an advertisement, but I had heard of other Private server projects from friends, like Nost and Kronos.

lol just started the game last night and lost all my progress.. It's all good though, still enjoying the server.
