Hi Kotl im sorry to hear you're having issues, heres what i have to suggest. Gather all the information that you possibly can, i know you said you didn't have some of these but i'm gonna list anything that could assist you here: Account Name Password Email If there was a reset question, what is it, whats the answer? Main chars name + any alts Played time + Anything else you can think of. Head GM "Snow" may be able to help you and i reccomend that you message him on the forums with allllll of the information that you cann pssobily muster to give you the best chance at getting your account back. Nostalrius's forums are still active, theres a chance that you will be able to get some help there if we cant get it done here. Perhaps you can open the old Nostalrius client in hopes that your account name will be "remembered" Also, your Nost forums account was probably a diffeent one than you use to log on with, try to recover that too.

Upon a bit more research on that thread i noticed that for the most part; people are really happy with it, these were probably people trying to connect to nostalrius but you could just extract the 1.12 from that and make your own realmlist. I digress, i say most of the people were happy; those that werent only found problems because of their chrome not having an addon or not being updated or whatever, if you cant download that version on google chrome, try on mozilla or IE. God forbid you use IE.

Yes this will give you the files you need (Warcraft 1.12). I'm not familiar with the set up wizard though, the nost installer might do some stuff that i'm not savvy on. E.g. that will probably automatically set your realmlist to the old nost realmlist.

My mistake, undertanker Slippery, patch 1.12 was before 1.2. I'm not sure if you mean i made a typo, but yeah, incorrect.

You can use the same client as Kronos or the Old Nostalrius client. Heck, any 1.12 client will work If you have any other issues jump on the help n support discord and we'll see what we can do. I'm fairly sure that there has been some fan-made download links, be careful of these they could contain malicious software.

I thiiiink and don't quote me on this but i think you'll be able to log in with your original nostalrius details. I had this issue, it turned out that i had the realmlist saved in the wrong location, dw though copy it and past it into your A) warcraft folder data folder and C) create a folder called enUS and stick it in there too! if you're still having trouble jump on discord help n support, i'll usually be on. Edit: Someone said in discord just now that they bought another races mount while nostalrius was live. It's likely this was brought out in a patch designed by nost staff. Just so you know; OP, Elysium will be saved into the Nost core, so it's likely that if it did work back then then it will when the project is finished and launched.

Registrations (at least for Elysium accounts) are closed until the project is released, im not sure about the forum though. I'm sure you're familiar, posting for others that might have similar questions.

Hello @V4lla, i've done a bit of searching around and found an answer to your quirie, got pretty lucky in doing so actually! Googled "1.2 patch notes" came up with http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_1.2.0 and did a search for the word "Mount". In "General Changes" of the changes in patch 1.2, the second clause says that Players will now be able to purchase and train mounts from other races in their faction. However, you will first need to obtain "Exalted" reputation status with that race in order to do so. Mounts of the opposing faction are not available for purchase.Unfortunately for you this is a change that occured in 1.2, and our server at Elysium support 1.12. I'm afriad to inform you that you wont be able to attain the mounts of other races. But who knows, maybe this can be changed in a patch.

Perhaps disabling would be a more apt analogy here. I'm told that the Nostalrius core is being moved over, therefore giving us a whole new set of bugs to report. it's likely that if these fixes were made in the weeks previous to the shutdown it would have been unneccacry work for an already very busy team. I'll bet it gets hard to keep track of it all.

I can see appearance or gender changes happening sometimes, but identity was a major part of vanilla for me. Giving someone the ability to change their name is giving them a whole new personality, Vanilla was the day that there were server-famous tanks and pvpers whos names would make you shudder at the thought. I think its important to keep this identity.

Hey OP, i'm afraid i dont' know much about manual minipulation of addons or files, however i may be able to guide to toward some help. Nostalrius's website is still up, heck i'll bet the forums are still active. If you can't find info in their Addons Section of the forums then you're sure to find someone that can there.

I put the realm list in the straight warcraft1.12 folder. AND in Data, AND made a folder called enUS, even put it in there. worked fine, if you still have any issues come on discord https://discord.gg/B4aWpxu
