Dear nost, Over 36k are online/in-que in Elysium servers. You still think you didn't bring the community here?

So I have read EVERY single post on both the 5 pages of Elysium's forum on this, and the 30 pages (as of right now) on Nostalrius' forums. While reading this my brain has been violated with the words "F**k" and "C**k" more times than I thought possible, to the point where after I post this I will be leaving to take a shower in holy water (and I'm not kidding either - I work in ministry). Anyways, while reading this I found three posts that are not against Nostalrius. Out of the 35 pages of forum posts, one person named "GoldRobot" on the Nostalrius forums is for nostalrius with the following post: The grammar, I believe, speaks for itself. Also on this forum, one person seems to have taken a stance that i'm not sure is neutral or for nost.: Then once again on the nost forums, Sloffanti, posted this Other than those three solitary posts, EVERY post has been for Elysium/against Nostalrius. ONLY THREE posts out of 35 pages have not been against nost. In every move Elysium or Nostalrius has done there has been opposition, and has had those for them. But in all the time I've stalked the forums, I have never seen the community as close to unanimous as it has been now. I don't know whether Nostalrius has "other" motives as some people have speculated (I won't go into detail - you can look those up yourself) or whether they have just made a mistake. If it is the latter I hope that Nostalrius soon comes to their senses and notices that for once, the community is against them. As a wrap, long live Elysium, and I pray that Nostalrius realizes the errors of their ways. The community has spoken.

It's not their fault though, it's nost that has demanded their candy back. I have been reading every post here, and every post on the nost forum's post, and NOT ONE of the comments on either (so far - I'm only on page 12 of nost forums) has been for nost. ALL have been in favor of Elysium in this case. Hopefully Nost will realize the mistake they have made and go back on this. I have payed attention to the community since the shutdown. At least 5-10% of the forum posts have been against whatever is going on at the time. I have NEVER seen the community so unanimous on a decision before. There is always some resistance, but not one for them is another story altogether.

Servers are not hiding the numbers, the problems with the addons are on your side, because the addons work perfectly fine for me on the server.

1st of all: Thank you Elysium staff! Merry Christmas! I believe (I'm not staff - this is just how I understand it) it will be using the same timeline as what is happening, other than the dates of when things will be released. The dates of when things are being released will be different because we will be starting on the Dire Maul patch. The Nostalrius core.

People, look at the date before freaking out. This was over 2 months ago! Don't post freaking out on something that is this old.

I'm hyped! I plan to try and keep playing my horde warlock on the Nost PvP realm but also play a new Alliance Paladin for the fresh server! I'm exited!

You can get addons to help with that. MobInfo or any Unit Frame addons will add that feature. As for what patch, I don't remember, but I think It wasn't until TBC where it naturally showed up on their health bars. (I could be wrong)

I'm assuming you mean Valkyrie... And there are no transfers for those. I believe that that server is gone now.

Ohh... huh... I stand corrected then. I just think it's odd that we would have something that is supposed to not be available then.

Well when your hosting a server that has to be able to steadily run at 20k+ people all on it, as well as not be destroyed by the DDOS attacks they get, it costs a lot more to run than a normal web server that you may think. 150 is actually fairly cheap for what they have to have right now, but saying how much their website crashes, i think they should upgrade. And they are non-profit. There is no rewards, and the moment they had enough to run the servers, they stopped the donation flow so they are not trying to make any money to buy themselves beer. They all have jobs outside of running this server to buy their own beer.

We need more information than that....
