Yes, but I believe his point is that it is awesome to see people from different countries, cultures, and dialects all banded together in peace for the love of the original warcraft. And while not everyone speaks those languages, you can easily open another tab for https://translate.google.com/ or even some internet browsers (such as chrome) have built-in translators that can be activated by right clicking and clicking "translate to _" so you can just as easily get hyped with them as well as the speakers of your language. And we are all thrilled for this epic event! Edit: Cool dude is epic too

Terms of Use Section VII Multiboxing states this: "Multiboxing refers to playing multiple characters simultaneously. This can either be achieved by using multiple machines to run the Game or by running multiple instances of the Game. The only exception is that you may have up to two characters from the same faction in-game simultaneously, while at least one character is in a capital city." So unless its only 2 accounts, and 1 of them remains in a capital, then no. I have not run major WoW servers before, so maybe it looks different than switching server hosts on a small scale for smaller games. I did state my experience was minimal with large server transfers, so I apologize for my incorrect information.

I would like to start by stating that I am not a computer engineer nor a nost/elys staff member, what I have stated is from personal experience on running servers from other games, and what i have researched in my free time. When transferring an entire database of files and accounts sometimes a file or two will become corrupt, incompatible with the new system, or built specifically around a specific piece of hardware. Under any of those cases they have to test the game to see where the errors occur, and then fix them to make them not corrupt or work with a newer different system then before. Nost wasn't completely perfect either. From my understanding, Elys hopes to try and fix a lot of the common errors nost had at the time it shut down, one of the major errors being view distance, which I know Elys has been trying to work that out where it is like or better than the original game. There is also many changes that they have to do because they are merging the Elys servers into them, making sure characters transfered sucsessfully, downgrading items that are different in the databases, etc... After all that is done, they have to make sure the servers can actually handle the stress of that many players without crashing, and after the test they have to fine tune all the small pieces to make sure what did go wrong during the stress tests (at least some small things always goes wrong) are fixed so that when the game does come out it is completed and fully ready to play with very minimal errors and bugs.

I had not noticed there was a new thread so I had to catch up on this. I have a few things to put in 1. Thank you to Elysium for doing all of this! Most of us aprieciate all the hard work you are putting into this server for us to play on! Thank you! 2. Marshal Holystrike's Detective Skills 10/10 3. For us freshstart players, think of the wait this way, The PvP and PvE realms will be ahead of us to discover all of the major bugs and errors that they missed while testing it with just a few staff. Even if we are waiting an extra month (at most) it will come out ready with very few errors and problems. If they released it now it would be so buggy they would have to shut down the servers every couple hours for maintenance for months and that would be super annoying, I would rather wait for a working game to come out than a game that is not finished. Patience is important, and if you are patient, you will be happier with what you get when it finally does come out. 4. I posted this in the old forum before I noticed there was a new one so I'll post it at the bottom here.: For those of you who may have missed it or are too lazy to read the entire AMA, I made a quick TL;DR for the important info. If you found a mistake I made in it or something I missed let me know! The full AMA can be found here! Nost/Elys AMA Recap/TL;DR: • Launch date still not confirmed but they are working on it night and day • The 3 servers (PvP. PvE, and freshstart PvP) will all be released at different times in that order within 3-4 weeks time absolute max but most likely a lot quicker • There will be a server player cap, the number is undecided but it will be fairly large (quality of game/view distance over quantity of the players at a time) • TBC is not a focus right now, they would wait untill vanilla quality is primed and naxx is over with before they even start on it... • Forum reformatting is on the list to do, but it is not a priority at the moment. • Bosses and Raids will remain original pre-nerf difficulty with the exception of "unkillable" bosses, which they will custom nerf (not as much as blizz did) so they are still really difficult, but not completely impossible (C'thun was used as an example - HP and damage wont be nerfed unlike blizz, but they will slightly change tentacle mechanics to make it possible) • Release Timelines will be different from nost and elys, and will be released later • Information on the Stress Test (including sign ups, clients, realms, etc...) You will log on to the server like you would nost and your characters would be the same as it was on nost, and for elysium you will have to change your username i believe it will be 2 separate accounts.

You should not have to download a new client. The same client that I used for feenix or molten, was the same one I used for nostalrius. The client is the same so you don't have to get a new one. The only change will be changing the realm-list to match Elysium's

If they are not changing it, it will be "logon.valkyrie-wow.com"

Before i start explaining, I do wish to clarify that I am NOT a Nostalrius or Elysium Staff member, nor have I ever been, what I say is just what I have heard, read, or speculate. If you wish for a more solid answer for any of these questions, Elysium announced that they are holding an AMA session (Ask Me Anything) over Reddit on Sunday about 9pm CET or 3pm EST on the "/r/wowservers" section (https://www.reddit.com/r/wowservers/) 1. I have heard because of nostalrius' sealed files they wont be able to change those, but since nost employees work for Elysium now, they may be able to get around that. I believe (I couldn't find the source, so relying on my memory which could be flawed) a nost or elys staff said they will be prioritizing power of the character (a level 10 on one will not take the name of a 60 on the other) .There has been no official answer (that I am aware of), but they are probably (speculation) going to be giving out name changes to same powered characters or adding like an n or nost to ones from nost, vice versa with e of elys to elysium players, while giving chance to change the name. 2. Account names, same as the answer to question 1 3. If you have forgotten your username or password there will most likely (assuming/speculating) that there will be a forgotten password or forgotten username button to send an email to your old email. Your hacked email or forgotten email though, you will have to contact the email provider, yahoo, and try to get that back yourself. Nost can't give you an account with neither your user/pass or your email because then anyone could have anyone else's account. So at very least try to get yahoo back by contacting them. They will probably ask you security/person info on the account in order to verify it is you. If you are not able to get your email back, your out of luck. I hope this helps, but just a reminder everything I said shouldn't be taken as Elysium's words since I don't work for them, but I do encourage you to ask the 1st 2 questions in the AMA if someone else doesn't before you. You can ask the 3rd question about the 1st half clarification, but the email portion i can almost guarantee you they will say the same I said.

I am a Nost player, was starting BWL, but ever since TBC (live), I have only really played Horde. I am looking forward to the Fresh Start realm where I hope to begin a new, trying out something I once considered a taboo... Playing Alliance.
