Just to be clear. Have you tried toggleling questie with the "Toggle Questie" button on the map?

With TinyTip Friends or Guildies will be displayed in another color as other players. It's a bit customizable.

Open TinyTip.lua and look for function TinyTip_SetUnit add the following to the end of the function GameTooltipStatusBar:SetStatusBarTexture("Interface\\AddOns\\TinyTip\\yourtexture") and your done! Greetz
