I have 2 issues that are driving me crazy with the prat chat addon. Prat has an option to re-scale the font size for windows to values below 12pt. You can change it for all windows or specific one. I have changed all my fonts to 10pt and it works....for a few seconds, then it just blinks back to 12pt where it stays. I have gone into the fontsize.lua and changed all the 12pt values to 10pt but when i go back in game it is reverted back to 12pt. Is this something to do with the actual in game settings? Honestly its making me not want to use my whole UI. Second issue i have and it is not just with prat, if i have the addon disabled every time i log into the game the chat window loads showing the tab immidately to the right and i have to click on the general tab every time i log in. Im at a loss......

Can any one tell me is there a way in the pfUI lua to flip the orientation of the player unit frame to horizontal? I need the bar to shrink left to right and not right to left. Also, is it possible to offset the combo points on the target UF. I realse they are anchored to that frame but i would prefer it if they could be under my character and not grow vertically but rather horizontally. Any help would be great :<

Thanks man. I have been playing about in the lua and managed to get things working more to my tastes. I think an option to make the player.uf have a combat fader (only visible when in combat, target selected or missing hp) would be awsome. I made a post on your github also to try find a way to move the combo points. Im still working on a way to make it happen myself

Is there anyway i can make the ToToT frame not ToToT and instead just another playerUF? Would that be something i could do by poking about in the lua?

I am using Samuel swing timer. Found here: https://github.com/Terrub/Samuel It was made for warriors basically. Im using it but i want to disable the off hand weapon i use since im a rogue so it doesn't reset the timer. Can anyone see anything in the lua that will disable it? If not does anyone know of a simple swing timer that monitors the main hand 1 H only? Not interested in Abar btw.

Thanks. I downloaded that. It's just Abar that uses it seems. I find the lua hard to edit for it (cos i don't have any real knowledge). I managed to disable the OH timer and resize the bar but i cant get all the texts off without breaking the timers in some way. Any tbh im not sure it's calculating the swings correctly now that i derped about in the lua and xml flies. Anyone fancy taking off all the text and the timers, disabling the OH, resizing the width of the bar to 165 and height to 5? when i resize it i get the spark still going on too far and when i remove anything with '$parentSpark' in it i breaks... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaNghC0ym8U - about 2 mins in you can see my efforts. Are you allowed to use modified MPQ files on the nost servers though? iirc this wasn't allowed on Nost 1.0

I am using them and i found the way to combat that issue is to make the bars a good bit bigger than is needed before setting the transparency to 0%. If you do that they wont jump off the bars on a reload. The same might even apply to the height of the bar. just change the font size.

That's just some Discord art panels. Did you ever find a way to remove the HP bar from the tool tips btw?

Rhena would you ever consider putting in the work to unlock individual frame elements, similar to how discord unit frames is? Atm i am using both your unit frames and Discord to achieve this: Like the energy bar i have is actually my player frame and im using discord for my own player and luna for the target. It's prob not something that can add value for lots of players right enough but i think it would be good for rage/energy users for sure.

It started happening again for me. It is so weird. I don't think anyone knows the answer. You are the only person i have been able to find who has the same issue.

Thanks for helping out Pottu i really appreciate that. It didn't fix the issue but i came in from the pub and deleted most of my WTF folder. Solved the issue for the most part. Just got a bit of work to do now.

I cant seem to edit my last post, must only be allowed to edit for a certain period of time? Anyway will all addons disabled and no cutom fonts in the wow folder and deletating everything in my WDB folder and loading 0 addons in game i cant change the game font to anything BUT 12pt. Lower or higher. Also it loads my filter tab every time still and i have to click on the general tab! wtf is going on people?!?! Trust me to get a ваууing bastard of problem 80% the way through setting up my ui...

An event came in during that time and did not prompt it to reset to 12pt either. So lost.

There's people that have spent the last 8 months in guilds on other servers going about calling each other "bob" cause their raiding toons are called bob on the new realms and they have made new friends, they are coming back to characters that are not called "bob" etc and are still going to be playing with these people which is not ideal is it? It won't change but for all the mongoloids saying this isn't a valid suggestion it's time for a reality check. This doesn't effect me in anyway btw and in time people will just learn to call their guildies by their 'new' names however weird that might be but it might suck massive balls if you RP. Also changing a characters name is not un-blizzlike. Names got flagged for change all the time in vanilla for a variety if reasons. Comparing changing the name of your main to swapping items in game for other items is ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourself.

You can already flip the player unit frame horizontally? I only see the option to invert the bar or have it grow vertically Yeah i solved the Clique thing. Really love these frames mate.

Excellent as always, i remember seeing this posted when Nost went down. I do have a clique Lua that im getting after installing this. Interface\Addons\Clique\Dongle.lua:236: unexpected symbol near `...' As far as things i would love to see added there is 2 things i have noticed. 1. I use the combat fader option, would love an option for the fade to be just instant as the way it is the player bar fades and the target just insta pops off. 2. You are a little fud. I've actually read a bunch of your posts and you seem like a toxic waster. It's pretty obviously not going to happen, i never brought it up. People are allowed to make suggestions you know. If the guy fancies it hes entitled to do so. Why don't you just leave the suggestions sub forum and stop trolling basically?

Maybe you guys can have a window where you can flag a character for a name change by contacting a GM? I realise this is extra stress on the staff but if you had it run for a week for example it might be an idea. My understanding is that after Nost many people re-rolled elsewhere and are now moving back to a server where people might not know them by an old name. It's a valid issue although i don't really think the staff we see it as pressing enough given they have their plates full. I think it would be easy enough to manage though. Send a ticket in game and have it flagged as inappropriate.

People don't seem to understand the aim of the project. it is just total ignorance, you really need to know what the reality of the Nost project is to prevent yourself from being shot down like this. Please get informed about why Nostalrius is so popular.

To be fair Ragiral the project is pretty clear in it's ambitions to be Blizzlike. I am certain i speak for 99.9% of the Nostalrius community when i say that the introduction of vanity items and rewards is a horrific idea and one that illustrates how little comprehension you have of the Nostalrius project as a whole. I understand this seems quite harsh and you are going to get flamed for making this post but it is somewhat ignorant of you to make these suggestions. All the best though.
