I think we got the priest banned earlier I reported on here and via ticket, so here is another one I found while leveling skinning. I feel sorry for everyone that's botting I come across its so easy to spot. GM teleport him to the throne room and see for yourself.
-
Hey, I made a GM ticket and I wanted to post here as well. I've seen this guy for the past two days, grinding in the dead center of desolace. I mean this guy must be only getting 10k exp per hour as a priest. Anyway, the trained eye can see a bot in 2-3 seconds. Priest is a popular class to bot. Anyway, if a GM can just teleport him to the throne room you'll see yourself. 100% he's botting AND he's AFK because I've tried to talk to him. Perfect chance to get rid of scum putting load on this queue.

I'll go ahead and make a thread. When can we expect a thread or announcement about the fresh server? I'm also concerned with the new retail raid releasing in January having a potential delay on the fresh server. I really hope we don't have to wait until February. To be honest, I'll be glad when this Nostalrius vs Elysium drama is over. I just want to play on a fresh realm because I enjoy the leveling race and fresh economy. That's why I'm excited about Elysium. I hope the release is a success. Obviously I'll be playing on Nostalrius comes release date, but I have no intention of staying.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQCER_aHprw LOL look at the video comment from the guy with target avatar. Honestly, I don't give a вау - he's right this forum is toxic, and a lot of you will be starting over when Elysium hits! That's why you're all so defensive and scared XDDDD Peace! вау this фекал community.

Idiot #2 I'll pm you when the fresh realm releases, and I'll crunch some numbers for you. Be prepared to eat your words.
-
Uh, have you not witnessed the backlash people recieve when talking, inquiring, and asking in regards to the fresh realm? That would be the context of my thread. I stated above I was worried the new retail WoW content would prolong the server I want to play on.

You're hurting me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqmvaJi-Vzs

Elysium is going to be the more populated player base. It will have more overall characters and a much higher concurrent online population, so much that it might actually be a problem for the staff. They are releasing these two servers first to counter the sheer volume of the fresh realm. I know that there are going to be potentially over a thousand players that wont even log onto Nostalrius because they are waiting for the fresh realm. I know my retail guild won't even touch Nostalrius because of the amount of time some of those characters have put in. I mean if they did cancel the fresh realm - we would just stick to retail WoW and other MMO's. Also, you have to add into the speculation that more players will be attracted to the servers, both Nostalrius and Elysium, but what makes more sense? Play on a server that is years old or wait for fresh - all that matters is that the server is active. I'm perplexed that people even consider Nostalrius the front runner by saying there was 100k+ accounts registered, but now we have the same hardware and a anticipated new realm, you will have everyone coming back at what is maybe the last chance to experience a fresh wipe with great staff and able hardware. I just don't understand why people think there's not that many people wanting fresh realm - its like half the population of this community is telling us Elysium-enthusiasts, "you think you do, but you don't."
-
I'm sorry you're mad but you're wrong. Elysium will have over 10k population first day, because if Nostalrius has SOOOO many people that are just waiting in the background to play without participating in forums or release hype - then Elysium will have ten times that amount of players. My entire retail WoW guild are waiting for Elysium because we don't want to compete with characters on a database that have years of advantages! You're clearly upset that your server WILL be losing population to Elysium. The staff knows Elysium will be a major attraction, which is why they are prolonging it and releasing these two server beforehand to try to negate the volume! Elysium is going to be an absolute фекал show, a much welcomed фекал show, but still a major hassle for the staff. Us resilient will wait, a month, two or three for our fresh server, and when it comes you'll see most of Nostalrius leaving the server to play on the fresh server.
-
People want to have advantages over other people. Why would I want to dedicate time on Nostalrius to catch up when I can wait for fresh server to start and have an equal playing field?
-
Hahahaha. Everything is public knowledge and you don't know something that hasn't been done before.

Before you react negatively on preconceived notions regarding the title – please take the time to read all of this, and if you haven’t read the newest announcement you should probably head to reddit – links below. First off, I’m so thankful for another opportunity to experience a high caliber legacy realm. I am very excited to see the team taking necessary precautions to ensure a safe launch. I will be attending the stress test November 20th, and I urge everyone to participate as it will lead to a more accurate reading of the server traffic. I will also be there for the second stress test November 27th, and again I hope the significance of the test will persuade others. The data the team will gain from these stress tests will help them better prepare for the “storm” of players logging in come release date. Furthermore, reading that we have realm names now just helps me believe that this is REALLY happening. I remember registering on Nostalrius in March and my excitement was rather short lived. I also took part in the petition and submitted over a paragraph with my signature. I’ve followed the news and watched how Blizzard reacted to the public, and I had a slight hope that maybe Blizzcon would bring a shock, but before the event took place - Nostalrius made a promise and they kept that promise. Consequently, I’m not entirely satisfied and that’s okay because I’m just one person. This isn’t an act to riot over the news, and I’m not writing to rally up members to help fight against this decision. You guys came to a mutual agreement and I know there’s nothing that is going to change that; I know you guys are expecting to get a lot of negative feedback over the announcement. I’m not here to feed into that. Truthfully, I’m here just to help channel the opinions of everyone into one thread like civil people. I feel that the interval of time between the Nostalrius PVP realm and Elysium will have a detrimental effect on the great start I was hoping. Naturally, the tactic of trying to balance the player base will work, but why make this decision without the community? Yes, you’ve seen the polls and the majority speaks for itself. EVEN if I had a level 60 on Nostalrius, I’d still go for the fresh start. Why? Everyone loves starting a new without higher levels interfering in terms of economics, PVP, and overall consensus. Imagine if you released Elysium first; imagine all the people that didn’t get a chance at Nostalrius and all the people from Nostalrius that want a new start. You’ll have a launch that is greater than that of retail WoW and any other private party. Lastly, you’ve seen the impatience of the community. You know you’re taking away from Elysium by giving a month wait on our beloved start. We’ll lose people and I’m sure that is the intention. Maybe it is for the best, but I know there are more people that didn’t have a character on Nostalrius, that heard about the news and wanted a chance to play Vanilla; people that have never attempted to play on private server, and due to the sheer amount of volume and exposure the server got over the internet, they signed the petition and followed the train. I witnessed K2’s failure first hand, I noticed that some could play and other couldn’t during the race, and I don’t want that to happen here. I know the new server won’t happen this year, but I’ll still wait. In conclusion, I only have to make one last perspective apparent. Everyone isn’t here for their old characters. We’re here for the new server with Nostalrius core. Elysium PVP will be far greater than Nostalrius PVP. I’m not here to make this a war between realms; that will happen anyway. No one wants population pulled from their server or to play on a server that has a chance of becoming depopulated due to a new server. I’m just saying that releasing Nostalrius PVP beforehand is a wholly waste of time because the end result is inevitable. In advance, I'm sorry if this offends anyone - it is merely my opinion and just a bit of rambling. Thank you, Vye Reddit link, announcement #2: https://www.reddit.com/r/ElysiumProject/comments/5cmsp7/announcement_2_realm_names_launch_order_stress/ Straw Poll: http://www.strawpoll.me/11589399/r

New Server, Elysium PVP - On the Backburner
Vye replied to Vye's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
This is the second time you've posted your characters. I never neglected to believe, and If I failed to acknowledge your characters - it was because your characters are irrelevant to the matter at hand. The point I was trying to make is that we have over ten thousand people anticipating a fresh server. Sure, we'll fool around on Nostalrius when its released in case Elysium PVP is pushed back a two months, but I myself have no intention of staying there. I have been arguing that its pointless for a bunch of people to enjoy their old characters when they'll be abandoning them for new characters. This is the case and you also admit that this is your goal as well - unless you're just lying to come off as a mutual party. We both know that isn't true. My guess is you'll be one of the many people that will auction off their characters. It's brilliant really - you think I'm stupid? EVERYONE is going to sell their accounts, and I bet the staff really hasn't put much thought into it, but you have people claiming they'll leave Nostalrius for the new Elysium servers, and you think they're not going to sell their gold and characters? It works so perfectly for them! The anticipated wait of Nostalrius returning is over, and you have all these people that are going to reap the benefits, and they don't lose anything they're heading over to Elysium to restart and repeat essentially. Okay, maybe not everyone is going to do this, but I'm going to reveal to you that A LOT IS. I'm going to expose every person that tries to RMT their account and gold and report them directly to the staff - even if I have to imitate a potential customers. That's what pisses me off. That these people get their beloved database back and their server first so that they can just dick around and sell all their фекал. Well, you've given them trust - watch what they do with your trust. You think I'm kidding? Got facebook? Head over the to the Kronos page - look at the last 3 months alone. Everyone selling their account to start on the juicy new server. I can give you every website that involves black market listings. I know this "secondary market" all too well. -

No, I get it! I do! But the end result is inevitable, Nostalrius will die when Elysium is released. -

You just said the majority want the fresh start. The majority are people that didn't have a chance to play on Nostalrius. Old Nostalrius players are not the majority, arguing with you is rather pointless. I know the fresh server isn't coming first, but don't don't the numbers confused - you're the minority with the PVE players. -

They are hoping that people will just stay since its probably going to take 3-4 weeks, maybe longer, before the new realm is released. I saw this happen to Kronos when they were having hella trouble keeping up with the DDOS. Everyone rolled on rebirth and some even stayed. -

Shayss is just a Nostalrius PVP player. First off, I think he believes I'm an Elysium player? No, I came here because of Nostalrius, but when the team announced a new server I soon became a big fan, and so did majority of the Nostalrius population. I'm not trying to argue, I respect the fact that he doesn't want his server to die, but the fresh server will attract even more people that haven't came yet. The amount of people that heard of Nostalrius before ever getting a chance to play are here waiting for the fresh start. -

Sorry, you're wrong the new people that came here are neither from Nostalrius, Kronos, Rebirth, Feenix, Valk, or Elysium. A large percentage may have attempted this servers, but the majority are the people that wanted a fresh start when Nostalrius was up! We were late to the party, and we haven't been entirely satisfied with the alternative Vanilla realms. People are going to have to adapt, the fresh realm is going to take over, and the Nostalrius PVE realm will be more populated than Nostalrius PVP by the time its over. -

That stawpoll upsets you? Well, numbers don't lie. Its my opinion and you don't have to like it, but naturally this is an argument between a Elysium PVP enthusiast and upset Nostalrius player. The only way to save your server is if they do not release the fresh server, and then we don't have to worry about population issues because 60% of the population will leave. The thing is, not everyone is going to commit to the stay anyway, Nostalrius or Fresh start. K1 died when when K2 released, and the same will happen here. -
Theo, you're wrong. People buy and sell gold on private servers just as they did on retail servers. Hop in discord, listen to all of them preparing to make big $$$.

I'm really looking forward to playing on a new realm, with new infrastructure, together with lots of new players. I think the experience of it is very rare when you can actually join in excitement with lots of other people in a fresh start on a new server. I only hope that we have a large amount of people that feel the same. I was late joining Nostalrius, so my character never made it very far. Therefore, I'm in a good position to choose my home. Another question regarding the new servers and merged servers is, I read in the announcements about the character transfers, and I'm not entirely positive I understood the notion completely, but I hope that the admins will not allow character transfers to new servers, and I understand the process - you don't want huge traffic on any specific server, but please give us new players the chance to really take lead of a new server. Again, its apart of the rush and experience of becoming one of the first 60's. I'm extremely excited to see the new update this Sunday. I hope all is well.

I think there is a misconception in the understanding of a PVP server. No one should mistakenly presume that everyone on a PVP realm is concerned about ganking and PVP. On the contrary, the PVP aspect is just a bonus to our life. My first character was on a PVPRP server called Lightninghoof back in 2005, a 13 months after Vanilla released. My main concern was leveling, but sometimes its was fun to engage in some PVP with other players in contested zones, e.g. STV or AH. It helped gauge your characters strength. I think everyone's end game goal is different, some want to raid and others want to PVP in battlegrounds, but most of us like to do both, and its really fun taking raid sets into PVP unlike retail WoW. I think PVP realms are how World of Warcraft were meant to be played. I mean the penalty for death is not as severe as the old classic everquest PVP servers. At worst you'll be ganked, but if you're on the new server you'll most likely be on an equal playing field with your enemy. You can always avoid highly contested areas or group with others in the zone to negate being singled out by someone. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the economic approach. I'm want to race to 60, so I'll be avoiding all PVP as much as possible. I'll also be avoiding the AH - I'll create a mule that I can send all my auction items to. I want to hit 60 within the first week of the new server if the launch is stable. I'll then have a grace period of farming before everyone catches up. I can then be squared away to do endgame dungeons and the entry stages of raiding and character development. I missed Nostalrius, and I intend to pull out all the stops on this server. If this is everything I think its going to be. I think this is the last chance to relive a Vanilla start, from scratch, day one. I'm ваууing excited and I'm taking it way to serious.

No one knows what to expect. Honestly, I'm just looking forward to the community update on Sunday telling us that the servers will be up after Thanksgiving.

Oh well. Fresh server ftw.
