I never said I am not grateful for what they do. They are doing a ton of stuff where only a few would do and considering how people reacted after the announcement of moving into Elysium they are doing more than was even expected out of their good will. Absolutely I agree we should be thankful no matter the decision but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't disagree with some of their actions and decisions.

Considering you can simply say that it won't happen this way I assume you are wiser and know what you are doing. That or are just purely arrogant.

You may all call me a speculator, a player spreading misinformation, whatever, this is my opinion. First off I believe that the Nostalrius characters should be deleted, I will state why later. The sheer amount of people who bashed Nostalrius team for not being SURE whether they will get their old characters back or not was not only unnecessary but inappropriate. I will get the quick fact out now, Nostalrius players have already experienced losing their characters 100%, hear me out, the reason I say is because when the shutdown was announced people did a whole bunch of stuff (jump off buildings, give all their gold and gear, etc) and I have pictures of it on my phone, I personally was amazed at what I saw. Any who Nostalrius players have already gulped down most if not all of the sour taste of losing their characters, because when the announcement happened they all believed their characters will be gone forever. People got over it, many rolled on different servers like Kronos for example in fact Kronos was flooded with Nostalrius players after the shutdown. If the characters are deleted and there is no worry of an old PvP server and fresh one, instead there could be fresh PvP and PvE and old server for the Elysium characters with their progression, would this not be a better outcome? Ultimately Nostalrius players have mostly gotten over losing their characters, and if they lose them now they will be only pissed because they were announced at one point they WILL (unfortunately) get it back, this promise is the only thing keeping them happy. I wish the Nostalrius team was more prudent and DID NOT promise getting their characters back, perhaps not directly but never simply implied it or said anything. I think the character deletion is the best way because then the PvP fresh realm and PvE can be released on the same day (I feel it can be, I do not see why it can't be), and it would be better for the Nostalrius community. Now to justify further my reasoning, Nostalrius players who want their characters back ultimately believe things will be just the way they were but this will not be the case. I believe that once the server starts with players getting their old characters back there will be a sort of confusion, the reason I believe this is because players will not simply know where to go but they will have to find their way back (if there is a way back). With this confusion there will be a lot of differences and ultimately it might of been better to just delete the characters and start fresh, meet new people and create guilds without having to get everyone back together which will be quite difficult. Again, I do not believe things will be simply the way they were but instead it will be very confusing, and this could also result in players just giving up and going around the world camping players who just started out because there is again that confusion and no sense of direction. Although this is indeed speculation it still should be taken into account, the simple idea that things will not be the same is ultimately true and must be put on the table. Realistically speaking things will not be fun, there will be people trying to start out (especially if no fresh realm or PvE server comes at the same time as PvP old realm) and it will be tough for them and it will certainly not be fun, progression will be quite a pain because there will be a lot of raids to go through and that progression would of been better of starting fresh because people will be expected to be geared already for those raids. Getting to 60 will be a tough road to trek but furthermore the road to gearing when at 60 is probably harder, another reason why I believe a fresh realm is needed. Players are already unhappy to hear that the fresh realm and PvE realm is delayed and ultimately a big portion of those people may roll in the old server simply because of the wait. Although taking into account that a lot of the same people who say the same thing will probably just wait, but the truth is the realm will still be less populated than the old characters PvP realm. There is no denying that. What is the best for the community? If you ask me, delete the Nostalrius characters, three realms Fresh PvP and PvE and old Elysium characters with their progression as the third realm. Simple and will cause no imbalance with Nostalrius community, fresh realm is the more insisted method and thus is more voted than old PvP realm. Nostalrius players who lose their characters will NOT be as sour as Elysium players who lose their characters (simply because of the long period of time without their characters whereas Elysium players would not have a long time without their characters and are guaranteed they will be with their players again). What's the big issue with deleting Nostalrius characters? Please take into account this is my own opinion and my own examination, I am JUST an ignorant person trying to find the truth.
