im actually looking forward to the merger so I can finally play my characters from darrowshire again, which turned out to be completely worthless for me since all the gear I farmed in months cannot be used to fool other players, besides those who intent to do so ( in battlegrounds ). I just miss world pvp, which made me even reroll the exact same two classes on elysium... this merger to a pvp realm would bring me back to Elysium

Here's my two cents: I think the possibility for a transfer from Elysium to ZK should be made available, maybe with two or three large guilds transferring to push the community a bit. A merge would be quite difficult, since it would create a) the name-problem, guilds, playernames, etc. b) large-scale economy intervention c) players from ZK will be shocked/unhappy/complaining about being forced to play on an - honestly speaking - overcrowded server Personally, I've been leveling faster than before when I found out that the servers might merge. I dont wanna have this annoying leveling experience with 200 lvl 60s ganking me, basically 60% of my time consumed for unfair encounters. Same goes for all the farming stuff. I try to farm as much as possible now already, I really dont want to compete with ungoro mafia at lvl 60 to get my devilsaur stuff... I dont have the time to put that much effort into the game anymore, and ZK basically offers me to play it just the way I wished it would be like. Now, I do see a problem with ceising player numbers. I do agree that action must be taken. However, i dont think that a merge would be a - for the cummunity - satisfacting way to tackle the problem. Lets try out the free transfer, maybe with a small goodie-bag ( like 14er bags for leveling ) for players <30 that switch... or a small treat related to the level bracket ur currently in... if that should turn out to be ineffective, a merge is still possible.

Well then I assume you have read the part where I stated that I tried several times to either form or join a counter-raid. After 10 Minutes where we owned horde and Horde Corpserunning one single time they just grouped up as well with the sweet side-effect of being more people. But since you figured out a way to still beat horde, I would like to be like you, so please teach me. Moreover, you sort of complained about alliance being unable to compete with Horde. Since you are able to do so, please share your knowledge with us in order to tackle the problems you are complaining about.

hi, just a small summary of my last 2 days on zeth'kebab as ally: >spent 30 mins to accept goblin quests in shimmering flats because lvl ?? was bored >get ganked 1v5 by horde >igotdis.jpg >form a group to fight back >gank horde for one turn >horde groups up >end up getting ganked by horde for 2hours >switch to desolace >get ganked 1v5 by horde >form a group to fight back >gank horde for one turn >horde groups up with 2 lvl ?? >end up getting ganked by horde for 2hours >switch to STV >spent 30 mins waiting until no horde is at nesingwarys to accept quests without getting ganked >finally.png > at first questhub get ganked 1v5 by horde >form a group to fight back >gank horde for one turn >horde groups up >end up getting ganked by horde for 2hours >friend whos sitting next to me kek's about me being raped >he flies to lakeshire >gets ganked by a full raid of lvl 40s horde for 2h srsly, I am absolutely not complaining about WPvP in general, thats why I rerolled here in the first place and I am also not complaining about high pop or that its a pvp server, but from my point of view, horde outnumbers alliance in every contested questing hub by the ratio 3-4 v 1 ... this will be very frustrating to (especially new) players which will either make them go horde as well or completely quit. If you consider Faction Imbalance and its long-term features, i highly recommend everyone <20 on horde to reroll alliance. Take "looking 4 group" as a bad example of to what faction imbalance leads. The Faction Imbalance will ( if being as persistent as it is now ) lead to far reaching problems that will diminish everybodys gaming experience. anyways.. i will have the endurance and patience to level to 60 and then start ganking horde again.. but to all the horde kiddos: enjoy pvp with ur sick ud rog for a few weeks until you end up with 50mins BG queues against the same ally premade over and over again or ganking lowbies in ungoro

please play alliance! Just take a look at what happened to l4g (besides bad scripts at the beginning)... alliance is completely dead which kinda made horde dying too due to no world pvp and generally no pvp

i was ingame until 10 minutes ago.. had a huuuuge lag, after 10 mins i decided to alt f4.. now im stuck at authenticating as well....

you will want every single weapon in the entire freaking game, you dont need anything but your pet, send him in, scattershot and then feign death

thats like 4 buttons too many already, + soulstoning, farming soulshards, summon people, trading healthstones, summoning - not calling(!) pets, +watching timers when dots run out +be aware of which curse-lock you are etc etc.. not lazy at all those locks

i remember leveling with a friend, he was troll enh shaman, i was troll hunter, but tbh races and talents dont really matter as long as you go BM. man we pulled like 4-5 mobs which were 2-3 levels above us in every level zone and cleared everything without any problems, just sending in ITSMYPETLOL ( RIP in peace btw ), multishot and continuing writing my thesis also, feign death is like heaven.. no corpserunning anymore, no painful rebuffing, regen etc etc

sure as hell hunter LOL. rotation is pretty ridicilous and dmg output ( especially in earlygame ) not worth to be mentioned in comparison to other classes. I really enjoyed going auto-shot afk, eating proper dinner, watching tv shows and actually paying attention, rolling stuff, all the kinds of things, while clearing MC and rolling on dem lewtz and maybe hitting aimed shot or multishot once in a while to keep mana on 50% so raidleader thinks im actually playing... also, you dont really have any responsibilities.. no need to buff anyone, no need to make food, soulstone someone etc etc. you dont even need ur pet. Besides kiting once in a while, which is literally just running, your live is pretty damn easy. If youre doing a mellow job in dps, nobodys gonna be mad cuz ur just support anyways ( especially in earlygame ). All this basically applies to everything besides PVP as a hunter... farming, questing, dungeons, raids, leveling... man I miss my old hunter....

sup peepz, since pre-1.4 mounts will be available ( hi @ troll pop increases by 200% ) again, which is IMHO one of the outstanding features of Nostalrius ( not donation-based mounts ), there's two things I thought of: - I am rolling Undead and since exalted with Darkspear Trolls cannot be reached pre-1.4, I plan on going for the arctic doggy. All I could find in the interwebz in regards to a guide to reach exalted with Orgrimmar was post-1.4. My question is: did anyone of the old nostalrius players reach exalted with Orgrimmar as an undead in pre-1.4. and could share some guidelines? - This is a bit offtopic and something for the nostalgia faction over here and not related to how it will take place on the new server. Do you guys know of any incidence on an official blizz server that a player was riding on a mount of the opposing faction? Let me get this theory more clear: When the patch was released, all mounts who required the specific riding skill ( i.e. "Horseriding" ) were changed to only require the standard riding skill ( i.e. "riding"). However, Mounts were also changed from being BoU ( Bound on Usage ) to BoP ( Bound on Pickup ). Now lets face this scenario: x creates troll, levels to 60 and buys ivory raptor (BoU). x sells the ivory raptor through the neutral AH to a friend, lets say gnome mage y. ofc, y cannot use the mount since he does not have the required riding skill ( i.e. "Raptor-riding" ), but instead has mechanostrider-riding. However, with the new patch, y's riding skill as well as the requirements to use the mount will be changed to the general one (i.e. "riding"). Now, y should be able to use the ivory raptor although he is not exalted with Darkspear Trolls, not even from the same faction. According to the patch notes, this would have been possible, or am I missing something? I mean sure, that would have ment betting 900g that blizzard would not think about this hole, and thus quite rare among the community. Can someone confirm that somehow? I remember back in 2005 there was a screenshot going around of a gnome mage sitting on an ivory raptor in ( a very crowded ) ironforge. Back in those days PS were basically non-existant and sure as hell not crowded at all, which is why everyone took that screenshot for legit. And yes, this was not the ZG Raptor, since it was clearly a white raptor and as far as I remember, ZG was not released yet. cheers!
