Would be nice if the "fixes" like the hunter dismiss were coupled with actual patch appropriate fixes like the pets retaining their buffs. Its really going to grate when you leave one thing broken but "fix" the thing that hurts.

Will our Darrowshire community get a server as well? I know we aren't the largest, but this is our home, and its the only PServer project that has thrown us a bone. Our population has stabilized and we love the community. Please make 2 servers, all on the same timeline. One for PvE ruleset and the ever dominant one for PvP players too. Don't kick us out pleeeease. -
This is magnificent. Thank you. I like others cannot get Necrosis to load for whatever reason no matter what version of the addon I use. But this supermacro solution works perfectly and doesn't force you to use a soul bag. So its absolutely flawless.

Yeah strangely theres level restrictions on chests. I... dont remember that from live, but its so rare that you encounter a chest higher level than you so I dont really remember.

Im willing to go on board to donate, but It would be nice if you created a different paypal. True or not, theres drama surrounding the current one. Create a new one and make a clean break from the Shenna rumors and Ill pitch in. Ill bet Im not the only one either. Servers been doing GREAT since Shenna left, cut the umbilical completely and lets move on man. Edit: Also yeah if you had a system where everyone could see how much was donated so far instead of zero transparency, that would help also.

Interesting to hear that this is a client issue apparently. I have been having the same thing happen randomly. You target a CC target, begin casting sheep and while sheep is STILL CASTING you swap your target to the Skull and begin queuing a DD. The DD flys off and breaks the sheep despite your target CLEARLY BEING the other target. Whats funny is I have had it seemingly break LOS, sometimes the kill target is North and the Sheep target is south, resulting in me Frost Bolting through my stomach and out of my back towards the sheep even though I wasn't even facing it let alone targeting it.

Hunters and their pets in vanilla are most certainly not without their issues. Many of those issues were addressed in some form in BC to a degree. Keep in mind, that in vanilla, some of the Hunters pets shortcomings were (IMO) meant to be counterbalanced with the taming of 'unique' pets. Sure our pets have lower sheet (base) dps than some warlock pets (not accounting for claw/bite) but getting a pet that deals shadow damage and bypasses armor makes up for that BIG time. And it may be expensive in training points to give your pet high elemental resists, but taming a wolf that comes with 100 to every resist innately is a huge boost that can alleviate that issue. The problem in my eyes is that they abandoned making taming rare pets meaningful. Instead choosing to nerf all the unique pets from the game while giving nothing in return until BC. Its still a great class though.

I think I remember a short lived bug on live where Sentry totem could be dropped while you were falling or jumping off of a cliff to prevent fall damage. Is that the case here on Elysium?

Seems they will not. They posted on your bug report and claimed the evidence you presented; the evidence that Pottu suggested; is yet again, not good enough. There seems to be no source they are willing to accept for this. Starting to smell like a personal and custom change the Elysium team have decided on, but they are too chickenshit to admit it. So instead keep instead claiming that we have not submitted enough evidence to prove its broken.

The problem is its not blizzlike. There's been several bug reports on it. Proof from people doing comparisons and more. But the QA team denotes every bit of proof that we give them as "not verifiable", to the point that they have basically said the only way we can prove it wrong is by playing on a Live Blizz server and taking video. But of course Blizzard doesn't have a vanilla server, so they have set the bar at unprovable levels for Rogue stealth. Its frustrating as hell, and one really has to wonder why on this SPECIFIC issue the QA team is being borderline retarded. We went as far as getting Pottu to tell us what to do. Pottu drew a line in the sand and linked a comparison test for us to do: We did the comparison and found that Elysium servers Stealth detection is broken below max level. Submitted the bug report at: https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/issue/2088 And they still denied it anyway. Its almost like they are taking this one personally and have decided to leave it broken for some unknown reason. Hand waving away all evidence.

Good. This is a very important lesson to learn IMO. Hate or love it, the PServer reddit driven community for WoW private servers absolutely loves some drama. And given a drought of said drama, they absolutely will manufacture it. Throw in a few large egos and you have a recipe for nonsense. Ignore that crap and keep making the server better. Interacting with these retards is really only fueling them. So ignoring them going forward is the best path. And for the love of GOD don't make any of them Martyrs by banning them surrounding this stuff. They would just LOVE that. No more gasoline for this dumpster fire, let these losers pack up and move on. -

So this is something thats been bugging me. I see rogues mention it in game but I see nothing on the bug tracker and nothing on this board. Currently on Nost, with the first level of stealth, if you approach an even leveled (or even lower leveled) aggo mob from their frontal cone, they see right through your stealth at a great distance. Im talking like 8-9 yards and charge right at you popping you out of stealth. This frontal cone detection is NEARLY instant. And its not supposed to work like that, not even with Stealth rank 1 at level 10 or so. You should have to be much closer to cause the mob to break your stealth so easily. Is this going to be addressed or what? Does it stop happening with higher ranks of stealth and is that why no one is talking about it? I mean, its not blizzlike thats for damn sure.

Im I think 49 now, and its been a breeze as fire. 3 casts to kill a mob is great with all the crit and ignite. I prefer it for leveling frost because you cannot EVER get an AoE leveling spot to yourself. Fireball is almost double the damage delve as frostbolt is at my level. It hits HARD. If you plan to level by questing and running dungeons I highly recommend it over frost for these servers. Im on PvE though, if you are on PvP you probably need the frost stuff just to protect from ganks.

The bug tracker was already massively upvoted, confirmed by Elysium team as a bug and then patched on PTR and has gone live today as a hopeful fix. And all of that happened because you are wrong about how stealth worked in Vanilla. But you can keep on believing yourself if you want. It has been reported on the Elysium bug tracker. https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/issue/829 Visit the link and upvote it. Also look at the video posted on the bug report as he has now tested it and shows how Player characters can see stealthed rogues/druid from 30+ yards... Hopefully no one would dare defend THAT. Stealth detection is clearly broken in the frontal arc in some way.

Thanks for this. This is exactly what Im talking about. Even if you have no MoD the detection range is clearly off. Keep in mind as a NE Druid the druid in the video gets about 1.2 levels of MoD for free via racials, and yet, look at that aggro range. Its nearly the same as the non-stealthed aggro range if not the exact same.

Ahh that actually bums me out. I haven't tried really anything on Kronos, but it sounds like they have it more accurate. Something I hate to admit. Oh well, maybe its just the extra year they had since nost shutdown that allowed them to work on small stuff like that.

No, its not vanilla like. I played day 1, and I tested it all those years ago plenty. They did NOT detect you at 8+ yards and run at you. End of story. Yay, we were all there day 1. Can we stop fellating ourselves and have a real conversation now? Stealth detection on nost for mobs is higher than it was in vanilla with R1 stealth and no MoD. I know very well what MoD did and how it worked. What Im asking is if its been reported and if they are looking into it. I remember it vividly, I leveled 2 rogues, one horde one alliance, and the range that triggers the mobs -stop and look at you- is longer than it should be by what seems like 2 yards or so. Its miniscule, but noticeable.

Im really happy about this. I expect a lot of the insufferable trolls on the PvE server polluting world chat will be going to fresh start. They all seem to say they will when the topic comes up. If I sound bitter, its because I am. I honestly can't wait for those dudes to leave so I can help players in world chat without some retard spamming political memes or talking about his totally absolutely NOT MADE UP harem of girlfriends that he has IRL.

Hunters are easy to level. But they are not the easiest PvE rotation for raids at all. Anyone telling you that is a lie. Mage for easiest PvE raiding rotation. Spam bolts all damn fight while occasionally popping AP. Hunters are easier to level than a mage though. -
Im curious. It tells me on the page to beware since I use tinytip as their may be a bug, but below it says it fixed the tiny tip bug? Was there more than one tiny tip bug?
