Got on again today after a nap to find out I was banned from talking in ANY chat channels. So yea dont use those words together. The system right now is dumb I dont know when it was implemented but you cant talk about gold at all apparently. "Joking about selling gold" Never did I say the 2 words "Selling gold" together nore did I even joke about that. I was talking about ways of making gold to buy your epic mount. Hope this doesnt flag my acc or put a strike on it or some **** I would hate to get banned over something like this. New forums are nice btw :D

Exactly that would be a terrible idea. The current way they are doing it is still the best the fact that old pvp is launching first isnt going to stop the fresh starters and the pve realm players will get tired of being ganked and flock over there. Its not going to be dead especially if the old nost population comes back (And maybe even more). Ill be getting my old nos mage from 52-60 and maybe get pre raid bis and then re-roll a rogue on the freshstart realm. Thank you guys for all the hard work you've been doing no one ever expected this and you should be glad whatever their decision.

Lets think about this real hard for a second then. It seems like over 70% want a fresh start so it seems to me the best idea would be to do exactly what they said they're doing. Nos old pvp launches first yea that will be popular and that will bring the most players back initially just because well its the old nos server and its coming back. The fact that its coming first isn't going to kill off the new realm if over 70% of the people want it. Just be patient. If the community is going to be as big as it was both servers will have at least 3-5k and beyond and thats good for vanilla. My only worry is the old nos pve realm I feel like that will most likely be dead. I wouldnt mind either if it was a fresh pvp and pve realm and just that, most of you accepted already that the server was shut down and your characters were dead. Cant please everyone

Where are the servers hosted exactly? Only thing that is worrying me Ive heard its in Russia but is that confirmed? How is the server protected at all and whats stopping it from being shut down just like it was in April?

This entire project has been about bringing back nostalrius as it was with everyones characters intact. If they went and said hey we are starting a fresh new server with no old database it wouldnt be as popular as it is now would it? I'll be leveling my mage from 52-60 and starting a new character on the old realm. A lot of people already went through this when k2 launched with a fresh server. People having full geared level 60s and thousands of gold doesnt bother me in the slightest, it will be just as it was the day before nos was shut down(No one had a problem starting new characters then did they?) the economy will be фекал for awhile though.
