Since I can't copy a quote and edit it into another post (they removed BBcode edit mode...................) I have to double post. Anyway, best bet is to disable all your addons, enable questie, and slowly enable only the ones you actually want. Eventually you'll find the one that causes this. I can't suggest much else since you're the only person to ever have this error, and it's very likely to be caused by some other addon. If you can figure out what one it is by going through the list and enabling them one by one, then send me that addon I'll see if I can add an extra sanity check for it but no promises

Try turning off "load out of date addons" and see if it works. Also set your addon memory to 256

Is it showing up in the addon list on the characters select screen?

This is a problem with the current DB data and can't be fixed without updating. The new database for v4.0 takes care of it though.

Only some quest items not all, it's a bit iffy in the current version. The behavior should be more standardized in v4.0 though

You should be able to. It's possible this is being caused by the recent tracking glitch (That seems to affect all versions of questie) I'm currently looking into it but have been busy today.

I've finished the new database structure, but right now everything is on hold because of the holidays. I wasn't able to get 3.5 finished in time for this weekend, it will be coming out very soon though.

This is a bug with the current database data that will be fixed in v4.0, nothing you can do until then. This is actually the tooltip bug I fixed in v3.4, but 3.4 had some other bugs so I've had to remove that version from downloads. A fix should be out soon!

That is due to a bug in the current version, for now use v3.3 and you should be relatively ok. I'm in the process of fixing the tooltip related bugs.

Unfortunately the old saved variables are not compatible with the new format. You may be able to edit them to work if you know what you're doing though. Is the folder named "!Questie"? It should be <wow>/Interface/Addons/!Questie Inside the "!Questie" folder you should find !Questie.toc among other things.

I've temporarily removed the v3.4 download link due to a fairly significant bug. For now use 3.3, a fix is in the works.

did you do /questie showquests ? by default questie only shows quests you manually track, this was changed some time ago. I'm thinking of changing the default back to "always show quests" though. Since that is how it always worked in the past.

If there is a german language pack that works with the windows client then it will also work with the mac client. (Worth a try anyway) You can install the version from 2005 just fine, blizzard did it in such a way that it still works on new hardware.

I fixed a bug with tinytip, but 1 user has reported that it made things even worse. This doesn't happen with my own copy of tinytip so I'm waiting for him to send me his copy. You can give it a try, but if things start glitching that's why. It's being worked on right now
