It appears to have been fixed after the realm restart yesterday. Maybe it was a bug that has been around for a while and has got fixed.

Darrowshire up at 3750. There are problem more reasons for the PVE ream population to drop. Some people were probably on it originally because the fresh realm was too busy and some of them will have moved to fresh 1 or fresh 2. I'm happy with it and the great news is gold spamming has dropped probably because the buyers have stopped buying due to the bans that have been issued.

It's impossible to tell without engaging in conversation with them. The whispers I get don't say which country they are from and even if the website promoted is supposed to be based in one country, it doesn't mean the people who do the farming/boting are from that country or the people doing the spamming are from that country.

The spammers wouldn't be there if people weren't buying gold or boosts or whatever they sell. The other way they might leave is if a better opportunity comes along like another game launching. I remember on retail, when one of the Diablo games came out , the spammers disappeared almost overnight and were gone from the servers I was on for a long time.

It's a PVP realm, nobody plays fair, because playing fair requires more skill.

What exactly are you supposed to type and where are you supposed to type it to get .wr on to work? I've tried so many times and got nowhere with it.

Losing the Nost name was not good for the vanilla community. Nost was recognised by people who would never go near a vanilla server, whereas, with Elysium and the other new names, very few people outwith the vanilla community will recognise those names. Having the Nost name was of great benefit in getting new players into the vanilla scene. The new names including Elysium won't match the Nost name for pulling people into this version of the game.

Don't recognise what the OP is saying. At least on the horde side there are too many levelling. You have to group up all the time otherwise you can't can't kill any quest objective because they've already been killed. I prefer to play this game solo as much as possible but you struggle to do that because of the number of other players killing the same things as you are.

Of course Blizzard will release legacy servers, but they want to do it when it suits them, which is probably when they stop doing new expansions. All we can do is to show there is a demand by playing on the Elysium project and we can hope that maybe Nost has convinced Blizzard to bring forward their plans to open legacy servers much sooner than they thought they would be.

Gotmilk0112 hit the nail on the head. The only long term solution to this is through Blizzard. There are so many plusses to legacy under Blizzard rather than through private servers. We can't keep relying on volunteers time and there ability to withstand legal threats. Blizzard were always going to release legacy realms , but they want to do it in their own time when it suits them. Nostralius and now Elysium have given them something major to think about.

It just entitlement. The fact that there are only topics complaining about the new new server and none thanking Elysium for opening a new new server in less than a week, speaks voumes about the people on the fresh servers.

Are you really that stupid you can't figure it out? Do you need to be spoonfed all the time because you won't work things out yourself. What on earth do you expect them to update you with? FFS the server has hit the server cap and there is still a queue and you want an official update!!!

300 Euro per month is a trivial amount for a population of say 8K which would be within reason given the queues. If only half donated 1 Euro per year, then that would pay for the year and have some Euros over.

Increasing mob density or decreasing respawn time time can slow you down. It can mean you are more likely to die (I mostly die to respawns or wandering adds rather than to what I'm fighting) or it takes you longer to get from A-B because you are having to fight through the respawns.

The most likely explanation for this is that it's the holday period and nobody has been available to fix it, The website has been down for sometime - I've been trying for ages to get to the Nost forums to get help with talents etc for my new mage. I'm still on holiday and won't be back to work until the 9th, why can't volunteers be the same and have time off?

You can sense the desperation in the fresh server advocates. They are paniking because deep down they're worried that the fresh server will be a damp squib. Nost has two enormous advantages over the fresh server. They opened first and when you have two simlar but competing entities, opening first is usually game set and match. Nost will hoover up most of the undecideds. The name, few people will have heard of Elysium, but even people who have no interest in legacy resalms have heard of Nost. If you want to be part of Vanilla scene you surely want to be on Nost. People like to be assosciated with popular/famous things.

If there is going to be a priority system, it should be new accounts at the back of the queue. Lvl 60s only would be as wrong as opening the PVE server last would have been.

Can't believe somewbody thinks the PVE server shouldn't have been opened at the start. Obviously some butthurt fresh server person. I'm having a great time on the PVE server apart from the server restarts but they are to be expected given the level of interest in Nost PVP and PVE.

We don't know what the makeup of the people logging in just now is. Are they nearly all Nost PVPers or is there a substantial portion of fresh server people? Are people on the PVE realm because the PVP realm is too busy? If the nos stay high on these servers then we may have to abandon the fresh server and open a Nost PVP 2 instead. We would also be looking at a larger PVE server, before we consider a fresh server.

A fresh server forum would be good to reduce the toxicity. The people spamming about the new server can keep it there and give the rest of us peace.

I think they need to put those who are starting new accounts at the back of the queue and allow those who were active when the shutdown happened get preferential treatment. If that is not enough to stop the large queues then don't allow new accounts to log in until things calm down in a few weeks.

They should abandon the fresh server principle and just release a copy of the Nost one (in terms of the timeline). That way the Nost crowd can spread themslves out a bit if they so wish. The people advocating the fresh server have shown they don't deserve one.

I would rather they spent any spare time they had on the BC server. IMHO Vanilla is just a warmup, before we get to the real deal BC.

I agree with splitting the realms in the forum tabs, it would help reduce the toxicity we are getting at the moment from the differences in the server opening dates.

Yet another pointless thread about the start date.
