@Phoosy Thank you very much : )

Hi. I was here at server launch, but I saw it was too laggy and with too many hyped players flooding the place so I decided to leave. I'm back now but I see 4 realms, and I'm kind of lost. If there's a link to a topic that I could not find please post it. However, if there's not, would someone be so kind of giving me a quick explanation of what's what? For each realm I'd like to know: - Name - Type (PvP or PvE) - Wether it was a migration or a fresh start - Wether it runs on the "good" server or the "bad" server - Any other information you might consider useful Thanks in advance.

If I have 1.12.2 client installed but I want to play in Elysium PvP, do I need another version of the client or may I use my current one?
-
I will roleplay even if I'm the only one in the realm.

tercenya started following Elysium PvP - Alliance

There is no raiding time yet. Once we have enough people to actually raid, I'm assuming the raid leaders will decide what time suits us better as a whole. As I said, it's an international guild. Me being Spanish means nothing.

Looking for some people to level with on Elysium fresh start PVP

Hey, I like you. You seem smart and I like your way of thinking. What realm will you pick? Could I interest you in joining our guild in Elysium? PM me or something. -
I know my friends and I know they will ask me to form a guild, since it's always me who does it. I will not say the guild name until it's formed to prevent stealy steals though. You might have heard of us if you played in any of the following realms. I'm not sure it's allowed to name other servers here, in which case I'm sorry and feel free to edit them out. All of them have been closed for years so there's no harm really. Private: - Worldofopportunities - Belldandy - Burning WoW - Toxic WoW - WoW Core Retail: - Los Errantes - The Sha'tar Language The guild will be founded by a Spanish player (me) and a Geordie. We have cool headsets and speak English, so don't fret. We will not judge you based on your language skills. Everyone is welcome as long as we can understand you, may it be via voice or mad typing skills. I would like to encourage Spanish players to join us, since I believe you'll find it quite confortable here, but at the same time I don't want to discourage everyone else. I swear I will never allow this to turn into a Spanish spam fest. This is an international guild after all. Levelling We like the experience of developing a character and it's relationships throughout time. We do not intend to rush level 60. Let's be honest: nobody is going to have the level or gear to raid for a long time in this realm, so there's no rush. We like the idea of grinding together, spending time on our professions, chatting on guild channel, crafting pants for each other, stopping for a chat with a random Dwarf we bumped into, etc. Mindlessly running from one quest to the next like zombies is something we don't do. Instances are included in the pack. Yes, yes, it's a chore to recruit 5 people and travel to the other end of the planet to get close to zero experience, but it's an adventure and we love doing it. PvP We love outdoor PvP. The game would be pointless if I could never run into members of the opposite faction in Stonetalon. Questing with a friend in a contested zone is the best part of WoW for me. Battlegrounds? I tend to stay out of them. Those places are chaotic; infested with stupid people who can't make decisions or follow simple orders. But this is only my point of view, not the guild's. If you like BGs and you'd like to organise them, just say it. We need officers who can take care of this part. Raids As I said, nobody is gonna be raiding for a while, but once we get there, yes, of course. We already have an officer for this but we'll need more. So where do you fit? I, as a guild master, will mostly stay in charge of guild organisation in general terms. That means rules, recruitment, relations, economy, communication, and other boring stuff. Yes, I have a couple of friends but not enough to run a guild. I'm really in need of trustworthy people who can run the guild with me, so if you're willing to take part just holler. And if you like to stick around and enjoy a nice guild while you play at your own pace this is your place too. Just tag along and feel the love.

Yeah, probably. There's no point in spending time and effort 'cause we'll get closed anyway. I thought they were gonna place the new server in Russia, but they kept it in France for some reason.

Thanks for quoting the entire wall of text. That was really helpful.

Elysium Project — Nostalrius PvP & PvE Release Date

Good. That way the people who don't really care about realm will go into the old ones. -
How are the servers working
tercenya replied to mainedutch's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Elysium was a server but it's offline right now. They are currently grabbing resources from Nost in order to set up 3 realms: - Nost PvP - Elysium PvP - Nost PvE Both Nost realms will keep the old Nost database (including characters). Elysium will start from about the Alterac Valley patch if I'm not mistaken. -

Everyone is acting like this is allowed. Can we have an official post to confirm this? -
Please help me choose a class

Yes, there are a lot of people living inside the mages/warriors. I used to live in one myself but I couldn't stand so many neighbours sharing the same elevator, so I ended up moving. Now I'm enjoying all the advantages of living in a rogue and I couldn't be happier.
