I also created a new login, verified it, and tried to log in and i get an instant "disconnected" Is it possible that the people having issues need to download client? or is the one I've been playing on fine?

OH so many to choose from, i'd be here typing for days. But my very first memory of playing was starting my night elf hunter, i had leveled to about 8 or 9 and remember going to the area where the lake is in Dolanaar and swimming for the first time, it seems silly but it was such a magical feeling watching the ripples turn into wakes and then disappearing will always be my favorite memory of wow. -but others include ZG/MC/BWL raids (and wipes) -the connection you had with people and horde on the realm before cross realm ruined that -tauren mill pvp/ world pvp in general -the time spent and energy you had to put in to get an item or piece of gear that clearly is no longer in the game but most of all the real friendships made through climbing to the top of IF and drinking 20x noggenfoggers to get slow fall and jumping off just to do it again! I cannot wait to experience those adventures all over again!

Plan on going hunter with herb/alchemy and along the leveling process sell the herbs/potions i make. I did this back when i played and it worked out ok, just didn't know how much had really changed or there had been different methods that worked better.

Hi, played vanilla back in the day and so excited to join the community and relive the good ol' days. But starting fresh means zero gold, especially remembering the cost of mounts and other things. So does anyone have tips, guides, or just general insight on how to make gold without becoming a farmer and spending more time actually enjoying the game? Thanks!

I was able to use the mega link. Downloaded it to about 90% and then it told me i was over the limit, i could either pay to start it again or wait about 6 hours. opted to wait 6 hours and it started back up from 90% and boom, it worked. but i couldnt log in, I'm guessing because the servers are down.
