Will Zeth'Kur die in a Time?

This is true. The PvE server is very active and it has the lowest pop of them all.
  2. I knew that I enjoyed Vanilla a lot, and I hadn't had that same feeling playing WoW for a long while. I had been talking for years about the Vanilla experience on the WoW forums and how I longed for it again, and there was a counter-argument that 'oh yeah, back when everything was new, it's only a memory, it's your imagination'. It's not a 'new' thing. The Vanilla game is a completely different game experience. There's nobody holding my hand. There are no guides, no quest markers, no expectations (aside from NPCs pretty much treating you like a worthless lump until you do something to help them), and no guarantees of success. I'm brutalized, I'm insulted, badly geared, poorly trained, ill prepared, and I don't have 2 copper to rub together to begin with. Everything from this point on is earned. Getting things done can be very hard. Some things can't be done at all without help. There is a need to be social. There is also a need to be civil, because there are no name changes or server transfers, and I will never be able to escape my reputation. People know this, and they behave better. It doesn't take long to build a friends list that matters, and to gain an opinion of guild tags based on how their members behave. This is a better game. This is a more rewarding game.

    Congrats Elysium Project!

Yet it is likely that while you were offline your account was being used to spam gold services because you used the same password for this server as you had for other vanilla servers, and the account information was compromised on that other server, and you failed to protect yourself by using a different account/password combination.

    SpamThrottle FTW

For the first few days it was whispers from accounts with random characters in them, but yesterday I saw a big shift. Most of the whispers were from higher level characters with legit sounding names, and I assume they are compromised accounts. It's a little sad to see people having their accounts taken over by gold sellers. Do everyone a favor and don't be tempted to guy gold. Vanilla was supposed to be hard, we were supposed to be happy and poor. If nobody is buying gold because it doesn't make the experience any better, then there's no market. If there's no market, there's no advertising. This problem goes away if people are unwilling to cheat themselves out of a good game experience. Anyway, thanks for the anti-spam tip

    12 days until the exodus!

When the new PvP opens there probably won't be any queues anywhere. All the 'OMG FRESH' kids will run off and stab each other in their honeypot, PvE will be PvE, and Nost PvP will revert to the community it was before. Everyone gets what they want, live and let live.

    Frequent server crashes

I was on a lot this weekend and I never saw the PvE server go down

    Fresh Pve

This is true. And it doesn't matter if it's fresh or not, there's no pain in being the 2nd or 20th or 2000th person to get to 60, once you're there you're there, and you get to experience the content and the community the same as everyone else. It's not like you're going to be gank fodder because you're a smidge late to the party. The PvE will stay strong.
  8. Just as long as you can do the split pull in MC
  9. Hmm, moonkin form didn't come out until 1.8... (e) oh good, that's before 1.12. We're not doing math
  10. It looks like the Yandex and Mega content is removed. I got mine from a torrent a while ago, that appears to still be there.
