If you use the two part authentication, all you need is your cell phone to have some form of connection to get the updated code. Unless you are totally off the grid and roaming in the woods, you should be able to use the 2 part authentication without any problems. I love it. If I'm on travel in a hotel, I get prompted to authenticate every time. When I get back home, I get prompted once and then its fine until I go on travel again. It has been SURPRISINGLY easy. Highly recommend it!

Sounds like a similar story... 45 here. First computer was C-64 with the tape drive - and later the floppy disk. Played WoW since launch. Glad to be back.

It will be fine in the long run. I expect any new players to roll on ZK, and there are already a healthy number of people playing on the server. I'm planning on playing there for a long time to come, and I'm not concerned at all.

I see their response as being perfect. It sounds like everyone that has played on Elysium can keep their characters, even the ones that were transferred. And the "shift" in core sounds like it is just going to be what we are playing on today (which was a hybrid) with a new name. I don't expect to see any differences - except from the removal of Nost as server names. Which is fine. I'm sad to think that I even bought Nost shirts back in the day - I'm disappointed in their actions, but happy with the Elysium response. PLAY ON! :)

It sounds like a group that was threatened by the Blizzard legal machine and is trying very hard to undo what it did to save their skins. I have no idea if that is what is happening, but that's what it seems like. I hope Elysium stands strong, on both the characters and the core.

And that is a lot of the fun of "fresh" servers. I've seen a lot of discussion on end-game-progression and the delays of reaching that on fresh servers, but the "magic" to me are those first three months of craziness. Then the freshness wears off. Therefore, I'll continue to level up on Nost PvP as alliance - and level up on Elysium PvP as horde - so I can have the best of both worlds. Fresh servers are great, but the freshness only lasts a few months - then it's just another server.

Another noob question here, but does the speed or damage of the equipped weapon affect feral attack speed/dps in Vanilla? Or is it just items for stats? IE - is there a specific type of weapon I should be targeting or just looking at the stat bonus?

I'm looking for an interesting/different character to play in a casual, WPvP way. What are your thoughts for a cat druid in solo WPvP? Any recommended specs for that play-style?

Fresh PvP server will have the largest population. Many folks who play Nost PvP/PvE before the fresh server opens will make the switch. I think all three realms will have plenty of players - so pick your poison!
