    PvP honor resets and launch

    They will roll back the server to a day(?) or hours or something alike before the annoucement of the shut down. Is there any reason it will not take off on that exact point they are resetting it to? Edit: On the other hand, I just realised we transfer our characters to a new realm.. my guess is that they will make it to be as much alike as possible though. You will probably not have lost very much.

    Shadow Priest Theorycraft by Killerduki

    Killerduki, why wouldn't you compare wanding and idle regen in this situation? It's the realistic one isn't it? You just shot down a theory of "UNLIMITED MANA" cause you thought THAT was unrealistic!

    I'm internally screaming over all this. I'm so amazed. So Killerduki, do you see him in that PVP gear on the DPS chart? Because he might aswell be naked in that fight and thus have less intellect than you claim. Please prove me wrong! Have you got any higher education btw, Dorki?? Because I find your math flawless @ Killerduki

    Regarding the above compared priests, how come the 34 intellect is the major factor in this damage increase, and not the increase of spell damage(or other factors)? I would for one not compare two different lengths when talking about DPS. I don't fully understand the intellect vs spell damage so if either of you, Killerduki or Theloras, could explain to me in which realistic situation the intellect is better, I would be thankful. It seems to me that in any relistic situation, where people are actually buffed and have talents picked, the spell damage trumps intellect? @Theloras Well, then, I made a mistake. I misinterpreted his phrase "0:06 - 0:10 = 4 seconds you can notice that his Rage did not decay either during Combat." in which I believe you mean tell me that he thought the warrior in the movie was OOC? Surely, he later said "Ok i was wrong on that , what makes you feel so enjoying to insult someone ? Born in Cave ?" - which I obviously missed.

    @Pottu

    I think we all agree to that, Storfan. And he deserves a medal for his work. Still, what is wrong and what is right? Who is to decide this, unchallenged? Edit: As a moderator you surely are to decide certain things. But my concern in this matter is how he appears to be taking sides, and with which I disagree.

    @Pottu

    I find Pottu very well needed and in most of the cases fair - and in the cases he is not, I try to remember that he has to politely explain how things are to atleast one "I CAN'T CONNECT TO THE SERVER?!"-dude each and every day on the Nostalrious forum since it was shut down (and lately maybe on this forum aswell). Though, how is the paragraph below a personal attack? Where do you draw the line? I find this more in line with "My advice to you is to stop drinking as I am worried about your health". This is from the Nostalrious forum, from the links provided in earlier posts. "Duki, this obsession is turning off your brain. For example: *Stated example* People are actually quite fond of you. You are clearly passionate and can be very convincing somtimes. But because of this the Elysium thread, the server you are supposed to promote has been temporarily shut down. YOu're goig from an asset to a liability. Reconsider the image you are giving on the Elysium brand. It's not good mate." I had a post removed on this forum asking Killerduki to not spread so much information claiming it be "stated facts". Not sure who did this though, as I have not been provided informed about it. The text was not very much apart from providing examples of how Killerduki was proven wrong and yet going on with his, well, assumed facts? (Lies in my eyes) How is this Killerduki getting away with what I would argue to be trolling, but people calling him out are being silenced? I'm mostly talking about his latests posts in Priest and Warrior subforum, but as it seems there is much more to it. I can mostly hold my feelings, but this matter, this censorship of people criticizing people like Killerduki.. it is driving me legitimatly crazy. What's the point? He is spreading so much bullsh*t. Apologies if this is not in line with the thread. I'm happy if anyone reads it and forms an opinion on the matter.

    How can you pick one character with almost BiS AQ40 gear in a fight of 102 seconds and compare it to a character wearing 7 blues in a fight of 325 seconds? You do not think this is in any way cherry picked circumstances? "Let this be your lesson forever". "You did wanted "non cherry pick stats" , you got them. Nearly Twice more DPS thanks to Intellect". I am speechless. This Killerduki has to be a troll. My previous post appears to be removed, though I can explain it in short: Killerduki claimed that warriors rage should decay in combat. This severe lack of knowledge of the class did not prevent him from writing an essay on how rage generation is wrong. Although he might be right in one of the situations, where spell damage generates wrong ammount of rage. The point is that he still spreads his every word as well proven facts even though he is multiple times proved wrong. /Kind regards Phnom

    Rage explained by Blizzard

    Neat findings Killerduki. Heh, wrong formula. So if I could read the rage would be ~65 as slippery says, using the same numbers I used in previous post (which also could be simplified to about 30 damage per 1 rage though). Soooo, if this is what Nost uses, what is wrong with it? I thought the problem on Nost was that people dealt too much damage and thus gained more rage, but that formula for rage generation itself was not wrong. Also, from the video of Monkeynews, at 0.04 I can say he goes from 100->90 due to Death wish, and then using improved heroic strike for 12 rage instead of 15, landing on 78 rage and then critting 778 with offhand gaining about ~26 rage and thereby filling up his rage bar to 100. And on top of that, Unbridled wrath with additional 1 rage. So from the offhand crit he gets (778/30+1) rage which would be 26.93 rage. More than enough to fill up the 78 - 100 rage gap. At 0.11, why shouldn't he generate rage from offhand? 1 rage per 30 damage and he deals 300 damage = 10 rage. Perfectly fine to me.

    Rage explained by Blizzard

    Doesn't this sound a little.. unrealistic? I could be wrong so please correct me! If the earlier stated formula for rage generation indeed is correct, how could one possibly be viable as arms warrior? If you crit 2000 with a 2 hand weapon, you get roughly 9.33 rage*? So one would have to score at best 3 massive crits each swing for 10.5 seconds in order to do _one_ Mortal Strike? If we assume each of these three swings is a crit, it's a minimum of 10.5 seconds before the first MS. And making a 2000 crit is not really realistic unless it is a cloth wearer. *My calculations are ((2000/(230.6*7.5)) + 3.5*5.0)/2 ~9.33 rage (Assuming you use Ashkandi for the 3.5 speed) Expansion Rage Gained from dealing damage = ((Damage Dealt) / (Rage Conversion at Your Level) * 7.5 + (Weapon Speed * Factor))/2 This would be a 60 mob or player. How would this work in a boss fight? Arms warriors wouldn't ever be able to use their abilities. According to this source below, the rage generation is different and somewhat as I would expect it to be: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/index.php?title=Rage&oldid=195687 How come this is not possibly correct, Killerduki? I find the first one very hard to believe if my calculations indeed are correct (please correct me if I am wrong). In this video dating back to 2006, a guy critting a mob for 1001 damage gets enough rage to to a Mortal Strike at 1:25: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILH-CdfvVfI Note how the enemy misses him aswell, and his combat log is up to read all about it. This means his crit of 1001 damage generates enough rage to do a mortal strike. He sure has got blood rage up, but it generates only 2 rage during that time. How come he doesn't gain just ((1000/(230.6*7.5)+(3.8*5.0))/2 ~ 10 rage? Instead he seems to be getting a little above 30 rage. Perhaps exactly 1001/30 = 33.36...67 rage. Like the wowwiki source would tell us? As I can see it, nothing really makes sense. Provide more evidence please, Killerduki.
