Why is it that a DoT ability counts a debuff? Corruption for example is simply a dmg ability whereas sunder armor for example is a debuff because it reduces the armor of the enemy. Shadow priest have to wait until ZG if they want to play the spec but why? A dot shouldn't count as a debuff.

So for the return of Nostalrius I'm thinking about life choices and this is one of those choices. I'm not much of a tank person so I'd like to either role arms warrior or marksman hunter. I played on original Nostalrius as a ret pally (yes, I had nearly full MC and NightFall) and I wanted something new for the fresh server... What is your guys thoughts ? I like arms because mortal strike helps reduce healing and on some bosses this is useful and thunderclap can be effective as well; whereas I find hunters fun because pets are neat and tranq shot is quite useful and never dying solo is nice.

Will do tomorrow, I don't plan on tanking much as a warrior except when called upon. I've mostly played arms warrior/enhancement shaman on private servers and I played a shaman in retail vanilla (I did level a ret paladin once... loved/hated it) edit: incase you are wondering I've played arms warrior from MC to BWL and cleared all of it... never finished AQ 40 or even seen inside naxx though.

@Willy I applied to the website and yes I did use to have a nightelf warrior (different vanilla server) and I played arms but I'd love to give horde a shot! (My application is Orc Warrior named Lazydork even though i gave 2 classes I have in mind) P.S. sorry I messed up a couple of times in the application but it was like 3 AM when I found it and was tired lol.

Was wondering what dps spots you have open... Seeing as you are willing to accept un convential specs such as arms ( my true love of vanilla pve) I'd love to come!

If it makes any difference my friend is playing a holy priest with me. I currently think I'll play a hunter but there will always be a place in my heart for the melee 2h classes (I miss meh ret pally)
