When vanilla launched raiding was not even considered by anyone. Nobody new what raiding was, there was no raiding! Raiding did not exist. If you watch the video to the end, the awesome logo was clearly inspired by the portal to the Emerald Dream! Don't know whether the runes have a meaning. These guys are professionals. If I had a gaming company I knew who to hire for a high price!

This bullshit doesn't even come to my mind. I take the full hardcore Vanilla MMO mode that it's meant to be and you should too. Use your fu-cking friends/ guildies to get ur sh-it done instead of your own toons! I remember carrying my friends alt who was a herb with my 60 warlock main just to get the mats for her and my warlocks epic mount. Oh and ye, we had asked another guildie to make the arcanite bars for us which took days. That's how it's supposed to be. Wanna easy mode? Retail this way ---> You guys are main reason why WoW turned into what it is now. You cannot stand a full hardcore MMO!

Thank god, or Nost/Elysium team, they're launching the PvE realm early! Our community (PvE) might be the smallest here, but it's gonna be by far big enough and it's by far the least toxic - it's in our nature, we don't fight each other, but rather unite and play together. Battlegrounds and PvP flags still exist there, too. Great compromise. Plus it's not progressed really far so creating a new char there is well worth it for all PvE enthusiasts.

So to which of the four "king of the hill" locations are you guys gonna go to? For me it's either gonna be Gurubashi or Hillsbrad.

I fear once I have setup my char (actionbars/spells, spec, gear etc) the test will be over right when i leave the city lololol :)

I have read several threads about graphic or model improvmements etc. Mods and enhanced models are bullshit. So I thought i put this guide out there for anyone interested in getting the maximum optical pleasure out of the game. Use this guide: http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?t=1100&f=32 It will turn your game into something beautiful. Also turn your resolution to an absolute max and you will think you're playing a 2016 version of the classic WoW that was released back then - promise! Although it looks gorgeous, it still has the classic Warcraft feeling to it - which is imortant ( I can't stand the current look of World of Garbage). Have fun with it.

Pretty simple, look at the before and after pictures at the original Nostalrius thread at the "Before and After" section, then decide if it's worth it for you or not. If you don't come to the same result, some of your commands might still be off. If it's not worth your time at least you know there's ways to tweak your config. Config should always be the go-to to adust your gaming experience anyway.

Hallöchen, doch so viele Leute aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum hier. Top! Habe nen 53er Tauren warrior (prot, durch und durch Tank ) auf dem Nost PvP server. Habe intensive vanilla/tbc Erfahrung - allerdings habe ich da einen Hexer gemaint. Schreibt hier oder per PM gerne, wenn ihr nen Tank für zukünftige Raidpläne braucht. Kann ne ~90-95% Raid-Teilnahme garantieren, bin abends eigentlich immer zuhause. Mehr zu meiner Person/ Pläne/ Erfahrung etc. dann natürlich im direkten Austausch. Werde selbstverständlich jetzt erstmal 60 anpeilen und dabei pre-Raid-BiS equip sammeln. VG!

This might be an even more stupid question, but are you using any sort of VSync option - ingame or outside?

Alright so as we're already at it, let me throw my question in ,too . I have a Nost account and an Elysium account. Both using same information. However I want to continue to play my Elysium char on the Nost PvP server. How is this going to be handled? If I am not mistaken my Elysium account will be modified with an "_E" at the end, right? So I would use my Nost+Elysium account information, put an _E to the end and I will be able to play my Elysium char on the Nost PvP, correct?
