<ZA WARUDO of Warcraft> Is a brand new guild that I plan to set up on the new Elysium PvP realm once it launches sometime in 2017. Now before I dive into Guild Details: Let me say that the CURRENT name is just a placeholder and in this post - we can talk about other / alternative names. I simply use this current title as I assume it drags in most of the crowd I am looking for. The plans for "ZA WARUDO of Warcraft" is simply to become a large scale social guild - mainly for fans of Japanese Anime / Manag / Light Novel / Other Japanese creations of Animation, Art or Music that mayhaps: pending on if we get enough members some day - set up some possible raid days or PvP events. Center focus of the guild will however be on the 2 following things. Creating a guild for fans of Japanese Animation / Written Creations - I see too few to NO guilds at all on Private servers that welcomes the fans of Japanese written and animation works despite that Global chats tends to have many members whom clearly seems interested in it: most of which has been guild-less. Here on Elysium PvP i seek to make a guild home for us! Secondly: Making a large scale social guild overall as I myself will struggle to find times to raid and PvP yet I would still love a social guild whom may be in the same boat to talk to - or which simply joins for the reason of having a community guild that welcomes talk about Japanese creations. SOME RULES Behave - I should not need to explain this any further. I don't want mean spirited people or folks that just throws salt and bullsh*t around. ​"I'm offended" - Understand a joke / Handle a punch / criticism: I will however say that I am a person to throw jokes about mainstream / stereotypical / other possible offensive slurs around but that's just in the manner of f***ing around for sh*ts and giggles. So if you take EVERYTHING offensive and can't handle an environment where people will di*k around about stuff - you won't fit inn. Realize that there is a LINE between MESSING AROUND and TRYING TO BE AN A**HOLE. Let's go for a friendly atmosphere where we can wisecrack about everything without having to shoot one and other over it. Understand / Know the English Language: As the goal is to be international I will say here and now that the guild will be an English talking guild - if you happen to bump into someone from the same country which does not have English as a main language - Great: but keep that in Whisper. ​Don't start wars / handle decent opinions: Let me explain - Person A: Jojo is best. Person B: Jojo is sh*t. ^ WRONG. Person A: Jojo is best. Person B: Allow me to explain why I personally did not like Jojo without behaving like an a**hole and while understanding that others can of course enjoy it despite that I don't. ^ Better. As a community that I aim for having talk about Japanese Animes / Mangas / Light Novels - I know there will be opinions and fires will try to start: yet let's keep civilized about this! Let's behave and take it in a well spirited maner without going total a**hole on each other. Age Restriction - Mature language and topics?: In a guild like this I expect slurs and the occasional swear word to pop up as I am not going for a "clean and SUPER HAPPY FLOWER HEALTHY WITH SUNSHINE" environment. So mature language and topics will show up and I will not throw a guild kick on people whom swears or talks about mature topics. As for that I will not ask for your ID and require you to prove that you are above the age of 16-18 to join but KNOW now that you may see mature laguage or topics in the guild - YET. YET... - There is a limit to HOW "Mature" I will allow people to go. There is a border and that border goes between "Rated R+" and "Rated Rx" We will keep it at "R+" and LOWER. Anyone that can't follow this rule which starts throwing it out there about "Rx" stuff will be thrown out. ​Other than that? Smile: Side-rules for a guild is few yet I just want everyone to meet and great with a good mood and if you happen to be pissed off - don't let it affect others. Let's create a guild where we can talk about Japanese creations of Animation, Art, Sound & Music and more while stil being able to di*k around without people getting offended wall to wall. Contact: As of currently - I can't even give up any names as I may not get the char names I want once this new server launches so until then contact will be made here. I will of course come back once I have my characters up and going and post them here so we can start this guild. As making a guild costs 10 silver and money is harsh when one starts fresh - I will have to see if I accumulate money enough myself to buy it without concern of if people whom want's to be founding members meets up once the server launches and all ships inn on the price for the guild to be made. It's not about trying to put out fire with more fire. It's about trying to redirect all the fire to one place. If you had the option to put out on big fire in ONE go opposed to trying to put out 100 small fires, 50 of which is OUT of control by the time you're done with half of em: I think it would be better to just put that one big out in one go.

So people is flipping tables left and effing right as there was no official announcement done for the "Fresh" server today but holy hell can we just back the f*** up and put some well deserved TRUST into the Elysium staff and their works? They have had three stress test now in a hope that when things launch - s*** wont burn down to the ground like Retail WoW did once Warlords of Draenor went live. We all know that there will be WAY more people on launch than on the stress tests and because of that: we know things will most likely catch fire the first day but don't anyone here dare to think that the Elysium staff won't work their a**es of to make it work. These guys are working to give us a propper vanilla experience and are pouring every ounce of their passion and soul into this - and now you all make it sound like they have abandoned half of you because and official statement was not made about the fresh servers release date. Some of you even make it sound like they have DROPPED it which there is NO SOURCE what so ever that can confirm at the moment. The Elysium team would not let so many people down. We all know that. I keep seeing people from the old Nostalrius talking about how they are so many more than us and acting all tough as if they are the big brothers / sisters and we that want the fresh server is outnumbered 1 to 10000 and that "We don't need a fresh" server and yata yata because everything will be perfect for them on the 17'th of December. Take that with a grain of salt please as they have yet to realize just how many people that will join the fresh server and in just a matter of time - be on par if not outnumbering the old servers due to the hype surrounding this project. And back to the Fresh server at that: of course we need a fresh server. I for one would not be cool with having to start 2 whole raid tires behind others only to never be able to climb my way up to be there for "New release" content on the release date, the opening of BWL and ZG, the War Effort and the Scourge invasion. So many of us want's to be there and be READY for it when it comes and the Elysium team KNOWS this so there is no way they would let us down and NOT open a fresh server. And the Elysium team know damn well too that many of us are most likely planing the same: To level the s*** out of fresh characters on a fresh server during X-mas vacation, yet you all make it sound like they will let us down? I highly doubt that. Let the Nostalrius servers come first, they will see how much it takes before things catch fire and by the data collected by that - a fresh server launching more smoothly is highly possible and that in time for "approximately" everyone's X-mas vacation. Just... Please don't think that the Elysium team is giving up or some crap like that. Chin up and keep your hopes up - The fresh start will come and that before the majority currently fears is "too late" - belive in the Elysium team which so far has only delivered on the good side of things. Oh yes here... have that chill pill. *Hands you one*

So I do know that when the new server comes up - it will be a "Fresh" launc. MC is open and as time passes, the other raids will be launched, the War Effort will begin and so on. But what patch will be running in the BACKGROUND? To clarify: I started out on a WoTLK private server some years back when it freshly launched. And altho only OS, EoE and Naxx was open to begin with - the server itself RAN the 3.3.5 a client. Meaning that it had all the class balances from the get go as WoTLK actually didn't have til the end. How will this new server do this? Will it have the 1.12.1 client in the background - meaning that right from launch there is more debuff slots on bosses, Boomkins CAN be played to a certain degree (And has Moonkin form even) and Shield Slam isn't a waste of life. Or will it run the same patch that was along with vanilla WoW on release and it will change / add content as time goes by per patch. Meaning that Druids wont have Moonkin form til later, debuff slots are more limited at the start and so on? Just wanting to ask as I see many people talking in lengths about at what rate the "patches" will be released but no talk about the "BACKGROUND" patch.

I still remember my very first character. A Human Warlock - and when I got the quest to visit my trainer I immediately noticed the pattern of new spells each 2'nd level. After that I reached the end of Northshire Valley but I was legit TOO scared to leave the gates of the safe starting zone just yet so I grinded it out on Defias mobs until I hit level 8, then I realized that my trainer here would not teach me more spells and I had to leave the starting zone to get them. Safe to say I was then about 2-3 levels above the intended level rate and Fargodeep Mine was not that hard. What this lead too was me thinking that I could now take on the world! Until I hit the Jasperold Mine and got wreckt by the Caster Kobolds. It may not sound as funny but looking BACK on that now as what was my first ever experience and the first real adventure I had with my first day of WoW I can't help but to laugh a bit as looking forward to how I will approach the game now when the new server is set up: I belive it will be a whole "new" experience but with that "Good ol'd" feel that I so sorely miss.

I recall that Activision ruined WoW as they bought em around the time Cata came. And don't mind my avatar. It's more a nod to that I really like Darion Mograine as a lore character. My fancy for DK's in general is not TOO high.

Fair enough, but do either of you know how I would go on to make an account now so that I can logg inn and play when the servers launch? The client you linked me "cryofsorrow" worked but I got no account to logg inn with (I know it would not work now but as for when the servers goes up) as the link given to make an account to play was redirected to nostalrius/register which currently is down of course.

So I got the client but ehehe, how would I go on to make an account I could logg inn with when the servers gets back up as the nostalirus/register link is down for obvious reasons.

So after looking around, searching and digging - it was hard to find answers that was chiseled into stone. Most things redirected me to the almost 90 comment long forum post made on Nostalrius's forum thread for a while ago which holds little concrete answers. So let me see if I got this right and hopefully you guys here can help me answer these questions. 1: So Nostalrius is giving their Code to Elysium and that means that when these 3 servers comes up - we will be able to get access with them by using a client downloaded from Elysium? 2: The 3 servers - There is 1 PvP and PvE one that will be just like the old Nostalrius ones where if you had a character on either server: you can go back to play them - and this third new server will be a fresh start as if it was Vanilla WoW that launched all over again? 3: I kept seeing people talk about that these servers would open "Latest 4 weeks from the 6'th of November" and I have ALSO heard that they wont open all the servers at the same time - can anyone confirm for any of this? - If the servers will open on separate times or will all 3 launch at the time time? - And is that "4 weeks from November 6'th" true or is there currently no confirmed release date? I must apologize if this post is to someones bother - I just could not find concrete answers to these questions anywhere and I really want to get into it as I was planing to start out on the brand new server once it launches as I want to go back and see what it was like. Back when Vanilla WoW was a thing I was restrained by age, that I did not own the account I played on and school which made my classic experience meek and I really want to improve it and properly see for myself what Vanilla was like - and by that; I just want to be as ready as I can be once it's launching which is why I am asking these questions.
