    [Interest Check] Dwarven Clan

Aye. We'll do everything. PvP, PvE, roleplay, etc. This is a guild moreso for dwarves than for hardcore roleplayers. That being said, roleplay is still a big part of the guild.

    [Interest Check] Dwarven Clan

We'll be rolling on the Fresh realm, which is projected to launch on the 7th of January.
  3. It is a shame that you'll be rolling on the PVE realm. From what I gathered, most of the community was flocking to the Fresh realm. Nevertheless, this is great to see. Good luck!

    Warlock Griefing Allowed?

You can't do it in starter zones. Like Northshire. Goldshire should be fair game though. Everywhere else is fine. Besides, its more fun watching the lowbies have a fighting chance.

    The Libraries of Karazahn

High above in the lonesome tower, abandoned and crumbling, lies within the countless stories of ordinary commoners and brave heroes, as well as the history of the land. Here they are recorded and placed onto the shelves of Karazahn, their adventures to be resounded throughout the ages. _______________________________________________________________ This thread will be dedicated to roleplayers to share their roleplays and storylines to our niche roleplaying community. It will also serve as a way to chronicle major roleplay events for posterity's sake, and give the server some kind of history that I think will be interesting to see develop as time goes by. So, please, if you are reading this, feel free to share your future roleplays. I plan on creating and formatting a timeline for events as well.

RP journal from my toon on Nost

This is really great man. Maybe we could setup a thread dedicated to these kinds of stuff, with a record of events and player storylines that will have taken place after the server is launched. It'd be a way to keep track of what's happening across the roleplaying community, and share one another's adventures and quests.

    Introducing... You!

Lets make this thread more popular, shall we? I'll do my bit by adding a WIP of mine. Name: Kharodin Anviltoe Race: Dwarf Age: 112 years old Occupation: Blacksmith by trade, thane by virtue, warrior by necessity. Physical Description: Bearded from chin to toe, this unkempt, messy, bewildering Dwarf lacks the grace and manner found in most civilized peoples. Understandably mistaken as a Wildhammer from time to time, he is in fact a member of the Anviltoe clan, which actually has closer ties to the Bronzebeards and the other Dun Morogh families. Nevertheless, Kharodin shows little regard for decorum, and reflects such attitudes in his appearance. He has golden hair, and lots of it. He prides himself in just how hairy he actually is, and how dirty. His thick, bushy brows cover his eyes like bangs, making one speculate what they actually look like. Some say they are red like fire, like the harnessed rage of a bull ready to trample and gore any in its way. They're actually just brown. His cheeks are wrinkled like much of his face, weathered and ragged like leather boiled from the harsh elements of the land. His nose is long and droopy, with a bump in the middle resembling a beak. His nostrils flare like two thundering storms with hair creeping out from under them. Kharodin is of average height, but somewhat overweight for a Dwarf his age. His belly is like a round keg filled with the finest of Dwarven ales and brews, not to mention cheeses. Yes, Kharodin enjoys a good feast, and all the vices come to think of it. He is a rambunctious gambler and lover, and thirsts for gold and women as much as he does beer. When relaxing, as he often does and enjoys so, he dresses in light and loose clothing, often a shirt and trousers with a belt tied against his bulging waist. But in battle, he dons his family's outfit, complete with mail armoring and an heirloom warhammer passed down through the generations. His lust for battle is only fitting for such a Dwarf interested in only passion and combat. As a fighter, he is relentless and, to a point, foolish. To him, there is no retreat, as the greatest honor for him would be to die gloriously on the battlefield. Background: Kharodin hails from the snowcapped hills of Dun Morogh, although his mother comes from the green moors of Loch Modan. His father is an Anviltoe, one of the lesser known clans who fought in the War of the Three Hammers for supremacy of the throne. Naturally, they sided with the Bronzebeards, but in secret plotted to overthrow them to usurp power themselves. A failed attempt needless to say. For their treachery, they were exiled from the city of Ironforge, but remained in Dun Morogh nevertheless. The Anviltoes are seen as untrustworthy, boisterous, and intolerable to the other clans. Not only for their betrayal, but for their uncanny attitude in general. An Anviltoe epitomizes all the wrong things one could find in Dwarven society. Greedy, vindictive, rude, stubborn, and licentious. It's important to note this because Kharodin, a thane of the Anviltoe clan, embraces all of these traits that makes his clan notorious and, shall we say, unwelcomed party guests. Kharodin was born outside the city of Ironforge, in a home built by his father. His father was a retired merchant. What is notable about Kharodin's father is that, despite being a 'noble' in Dwarven society, he practiced a trade like a commoner. The Anviltoes are not well off like the other clans, who are rich in lands and titles. An Anviltoe must work regardless of his status. Refusing to follow his father's footsteps, Kharodin was apprenticed to a local blacksmith in the town of Kharanos. He spent his early adolescence and adult life training to become a blacksmith. From time to time he was commanded to venture with the clan's trade caravans in order to safeguard their passage. He quickly learned the dangers of the outside world. Bandits and villains often plagued the trade routes from Dun Morogh, and it was from those clashes that Kharodin harnessed his people's love for battle. Foregoing his trade as a blacksmith, Kharodin became a mercenary for his father and the clan, travelling with the caravans from place to place, drinking his fill of battle, ale, and women. Many a lonesome tavern he has crossed where by the end of the night was filled with rambunctious patrons drunk off the drink of ecstasy. His journeys hardened himself, both mentally and physically, and has filled him with a desire and lust for life. Having seen many come to a short and bitter end, he realizes that his time may be up one day sooner than he realizes. For this, he throws himself into life's loves, with unrequited remorse. As heir to his family's clan, Kharodin sets an example for the rest of his kinsmen. Historically, the Anviltoes have wielded little power and influence. But it is unknown what ambitions Kharodin harbors for him and his people. Could this spirited, wild Dwarf be anything more than the barbarian attitude he often exhibits? Only time will tell.
