  1. So far I was using https://github.com/shirsig/npcscan for this but yeah, it's not ideal. I'm gonna try to add something simple to enemybars, like right click to mark them with a skull or something.

    Interesting. I have been wondering if one-sided translation is possible. Have found surprisingly little information with google but I'm guessing it isn't (assume some sort of hashing and or randomization is used)?

    Like I wrote, for "some of them". This kind of tracking is very limited so I've done it only for buffs which can only have one application per player and cannot be refreshed which are the most accurate. You could add others to the list in the top of the file but you'll never be able to correctly detect reapplications or track multiple instances of the same buff correctly so it may be more confusing than helpful. Also it can never detect already active buffs, only buffs which are applied on an enemy within combat log range.

    it doesn't have a look itself, it hooks into the api functions for debuffs. Most unitframes will show them just as they would on a friendly target.

  9. If you really exactly copied that code you linked it can't work because those textures are shipped with unitframesimproved. you have to copy them to the modui directory and change the paths to match the new directory name.

    Oh, the error is from something I'm using to collect combat log data for analysis and forgot to remove. The other thing could only be fixed by the other addon. It's because of target scanning. It will also mess with 3d portraits in unit frames, but for that I think there's no solution.

    Like I said, the recipe prices should be fixed. About the bracers, they can be soulbound even if they are BoE. Aux will not show prices for anything that's soulbound, regardless if boe or bop.

    Like I said, this should be fixed now. Was the item soulbound or did it have reduced durability? If it was durability it should work now. There's no way to disable the comparison. Enchants not showing is a known issue but I'm not sure how to solve it yet. I don't understand. Why shouldn't it?

    Should hopefully work now. It's a bit difficult for recipes because whether an item is auctionable is determined by tooltip entries like "binds when picked up" which may be in recipe tooltips not for the recipe itself but for the item that is created. You're talking about the price input? It defaults to gold so you could write 5.05 for that. It's not set to 1, it remembers your last used stack size for every item. Also, often it is bad to post the max stack because that results in a high stack-bid-price which pushes it to the bottom of the default AH sorting. Not sure what you mean.

    No, that's not in the combat log messages either. The addon detects enemy names and sometimes classes with combat log messages and then retrieves additional information by targeting them. The problem is, you can't always target (removes combo points, cancels auto attack ...) so often the enemy is shown for a while without rank/level/class/portrait. delete the savedvariables file (account wide)

    That's not possible. The hostile player combat log messages have no information about whether it's actually a player or pet.

    You should be able to do /enemybars scale but I haven't tested it. Gonna fix/complete the combat log parsing first before I make settings more polished.

    What do you need to keep in mind? You don't need to do calculations, you can use g/s/c. I usually don't use them though because I think in gold anyway.

    What on earth are you talking about? I'm pretty sure I changed it just a few days ago for a feature you requested and if you can provide a good reason why it should be changed I will keep doing that. Actually most of the features that were added to aux were requested at some point. I couldn't care less about your poll of 30 people which isn't even about features but about the look. Give me a good argument and I'll consider it, I don't care about opinions which aren't backed up by any reasoning. The reason for time left is so that you don't undercut auctions which are about to expire, especially if they're much lower priced than the rest. The percentage is an easy way to tell if the current prices are unusually low and you should maybe post your auctions on another day, or if you should buy the lowest ones and repost for a higher price etc. You mean a different table? Your suggestion requires one more click for every auction. Since you always need the same sorting there (bid and buyout unit price) I think it makes more sense to have it statically sorted like that. Additionally you would need some way to distinguish between a "bid-click" and a "buyout-click" which makes it more complicated to use. The majority of people don't use addons like that. And no, we are not better off not selling items to them ... And think about it, how much extra time do you spend on the bid price compared to the time you spent farming? Even for a tiny advantage this is absolutely worth it. You do realize the AH isn't just used for cheap trade goods? You need to know the seller's name for example to contact him to make a reasonable offer for his auction of edgemaster's that he put up for 100k gold. Bidding also is quite common for rare items. A lot of people don't put a buyout value when they're not sure what the item is worth. I very frequently bid on stuff like twink items. Level sorting is commonly used for buying gear while leveling, obviously, and using the default AH should never be necessary. Not sure what issue you could possibly have with the hist value. It's the most important column imo, telling you when you're making a good deal, when to wait for a later day to stock up on consumables etc. That's funny because AH scanning is pretty much the only thing there is an alternative for (auctioneer). You get those numbers from the 30 people poll where you asked about the look only? It's very rare that someone complains about too many features, usually it's the other way around (in fact, I think you might be the first). Sure, but good luck finding someone who wants to make your personal customized GUI.

    What do you mean by simpler? I've always tried to avoid/remove unnecessary features but I don't think there are any at the moment. I've changed aux after requests many times when I agreed with the reasoning but you have yet to provide a good argument (or any argument at all) as to why any features aren't needed.
