Got the same problem. Already generated the code and transferred my character, but now I can't access my control panel because I am not getting the validation mail. It seems like I could transfer my character without verifying my account.

As far as I remember the two extra hits were always higher, so I guess it did work (maybe not the right amount or something). Don't know about the totem.... I might be wrong tho. There was another annoying bug, WF wasn't mentioned in the combatlog properly, thus not working with WF damage display addons. And the WF animation was missing completely.

Leveling with a mage sounds like fun. And you got better offheal/totem uptime thanks to restroration, plus Totemic Mastery which is always nice. Restorative Totems is quite nice too while grinding, especially with other mana classes in the group. And you obviously got 3% hit + spell hit. In theory I would aoe the trash most of the time with a frost skilled mage. If needed you can tank the mobs easily (with a shield and Flametongue), but it should be more mana efficient to just kite them. You can kite everything with blizzard/frostnova/earthbind and ofc use fire Totems. If you dont mind going completely without WF for the leveling, you could use something like this: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#hZxVf0V0uZVoezV Or even without Elemental Weapons. Using the left points in for example Shield Specialization (never rly tested it, but should be better than dodge or %armor while leveling) or 5/5 Convection + Call of Flame 2/3 for even more clear. Be aware that you are missing Weapon Mastery, you might wanna stick with this, 10% more damage with all weapon is quite good. Professions... If you wanna do PvP go with engi and mining. If you wanna get rich take herbalism/alchemy/enchanting/leatherworking, something like this. You can easily offheal dungeons while leveling with some off gear, especially if you already got the resto points. After you get 60 you should play resto. If you want to stick to enhancement go with this: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#hZxVbdVMhtVoezV And start to get pre raid BiS gear and Nightfall as fast as possible, most of the guilds won't take you without. Some guilds are going with one enhancer, some even with two. But be aware that most of them won't use any. Good luck Eukal

Well, an enhancement shamans NF uptime is still better. 15% more strength+agility 30% more ap for group wf 25% better mana spring + totem twisting which is like pretty awesome for every melee group + decent offheal (carrying healgear around all the time for some situations) I don't think going hybrid like this is more viable than any 'normal' enhancer spec. I would go full heal before I do something like this. Cool. But I am not really recruiting anything, I just want to spread my knowledge to those who are interested. Where did I say that? Obviously any rogue/fury is a better choice, because damage. As I said, this discussion is all over since classic retail, there is not really a point in any discussion because every fact is already there. I played rogue most of my time and was always on the top, now I played demonhunter and was outdamaging like every pleb out there. Dealing damage is getting boring, wanna do more than that even if its not viable like the top classes.

Thanks mate. And thanks for the support Boomcat. You guys can't change the fact that enhancement shamans got the best Nightfall uptime out of all other options. Offtanks are often required to tank themselves, they are often not 2h hitcapped and they got not quite the enhancement shamans chance to proc Nightfall. I could keep posting reasons why an enhancement shaman can be viable in a raid. Maybe not as viable as a full geared rogue, so what? Get a life. This discussion is like all over the internet since 2005, why do ppl still complain? I guess they just don't like to get onehitted in PvP. And picking a random bossfight where I randomly died by some фекал? Yea right... You guys are still comparing a mostly blue geared enhancement shaman with full epic geared people. Look at Roji, his gear was/is way better and he does pretty well for an enhancement shaman. Btw I dont think Realmplayers is that accurate, If I remember correctly my dps meters (was using recap and sw_stats simultaneously) always displayed me in a better position. ??? Every decent guild should be running over trash like it is Hogger, so they dont care at all.

Someone did pretty much the same in the Nost forum. And he did post the overall damage too. If you get through the trouble looking up raid stats, at least post some boss stats. Who cares about trash?
