So what I'm hearing is that Blizzard-Activision controls the weather.

Once everything settled down and I was able to get out of a packed Ironforge (700+ ms) my latency would bounce between 100-200ms. It's part of the stress test, I wouldn't go donning the tinfoil hats quite yet.

That's what it's all about. You never know what you'll uncover when discussing a 12+ year old game.
